The Natron mirror of water populates the imagination with its enigmatic deep red color and its placid and dark surface, guardian of secrets, seemingly quiet.
From its shores, majestic mountains can be glimpsed towering against the sky.
Its supernatural appearance that not even the most solid scientific reasoning can drive away.
A peculiar color gradation resulted from the accumulation of sodium, very high temperatures and alkaline springs, which trigger a calcification process that no body or species can escape.
Once permeated, it remains there forever and becomes part of it: liquid and solid, fleeting and permanent, ethereal and evanescent.

"Natron VA001" is the Stagno Records’ genesis: an immersive voyage through this crimson expanse. It is a powerful, commanding force, like a tempestuous storm, yet also delicate and otherworldly.
Six incandescent tracks from a meticulous selection of talented producers around.
Maquis Son Sistèm, K.O.P. 32, Marmo, Atoloi, Plants Army Revolver, and CP1: in this impalpable journey they push the boundaries of uptempo and half-beat, with their pulsating basses echoing the raw energy of the crimson landscape. Fearless and immersive, these soundscapes are infused with techno overtones, transporting us into a world of sci-fi and aprioristic scenarios.

Every moment of Skudd offers a place to explore. For his second release on Omen Wapta, Delft-based sound artist, Floid, fuses soundscapes and rhythms in seven tracks that swap peaks and troughs for narrative arcs. Cinematic, immersive, dense and danceable, the new EP, delivers sonic pieces that hypnotically swell and engage brain and body dance.

Drop into a snake pit with cavernous moments and unexpected ornaments that rattle and slice. Affected pan flutes, meshed with shamanic vocals and organic percussion conjure a nocturnal fever dream in the jungle. Tempo tricks make high bpms feel stretched. With Skudd, the only thing guiding you through the soundscapes is a certain groove in the constant kicks, rhythms and basslines. Everywhere else it takes your mind is up to you.

"A powerful glow paralyses time in the night. The hypnotic lights and the darkness of the ravine draw together silence and noise, the harmonic vibrations of a-formed bodies.
It's a different light, travelling cautiously and heavily, enough to pierce boundaries. It can permeate and engulf anything, its bioluminescence is magical and part of its amorphous system. 
It's both astral and all too earthly. All around, sparkling threads weave the world's most intricate mesh: those who only travel in a straight line will be able to dodge the stars, but not this. It will be absorbed and be light."
