Classic trance - vinyl set

This is a studio recording of my set for the Cape Town leg of the SA tour for Jeffrey Sutorius (ex Dash berlin frontman). I was given only an hour so I saw fit to choose a tight selection of emotional and driving trance tracks to warm up the floor for the international artist. Expect a blend of newer tracks with some classics, build ups and breaking it down here and there to keep things interesting. Thanks for listening!

In August 2025 I had the honor of flying from Cape Town to Namibia to perform at Tabularasa — an unforgettable gathering of music, art, and energy in the desert. I brought a full-power Psy Trance set to the floor, and the response was electric. The crowd’s energy pushed me deeper into the journey, blending driving basslines, twisted psychedelics, and euphoric melodies into a story that kept the dancefloor alive from start to finish.

This upload is a studio-quality re-recording of the set I played that night — a chance to relive the magic with clean sound and no interruptions. Whether you were there or are hearing it for the first time, I hope it takes you on the same journey we shared under the open skies of Namibia.

Emerging from the underground scene in 2002, Vernon Hayes has crafted a sound that resonates deeply with the heart of electronic music.
