Where do I begin? The first and the last time I saw the Spirit Train was 2019 and I knew one day I would be a part of it. Gratitude overflows from the depths of my soul as I reflect on the incredible journey I've had playing on the majestic stage that is the Spirit Train. It's been an absolute honour and privilege to share my music in such a magical setting, surrounded by fellow artists and beautiful souls. 

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of something truly extraordinary. My heart is filled with immense appreciation for the memories, the energy, and the love that permeates every moment on that stage.

A concept I've been toying with for the past couple of months.
A concept that was only put into words post-AfrikaBurn this year. 
A concept that resonates with me.
A big people's word for enthusiasm!
- My favourite word.

And boy, that was a hell of an enthusiastic show!
I wish more than anything that I could aptly describe or even share what it feels like to be surrounded by so much energy coming from so many people.
To see their souls carrying their bodies. Moving them. Dancing through them.

A lot of effort went into this performance, as I usually do with performances of this size. The primary difference is that I am coming closer and closer to having a fully integrated live element to my set, that produces 50% of the sound or more. 
This time around, I managed to hook up my synthesizer. (Fucking beast)
It was as powerful as I hoped it would be. I could see people reacting to the tiniest changes I made to the really low-end frequencies.

The set is constructed of around 8 movements. If you pay attention you will hear them changing. 
I won't bore you with the particulars, but I think it to be one of the most epic stories I have strung together to date. 

Huge thank you to the @youknowthespacecowboys, without whom I would be years behind where I am today.
Truly the most amazing group of ladies and gentlemen I have ever come across.
Their unwavering belief in me, and their willingness not only to give me these incredible chances but to teach me how it is done with love and care is beyond belief.
I am truly humbled to call myself a Space Cowboy and to call the Space Cowboys my friends.

When I played it live, it was 3h long. Unfortunately, this was not the year for live recording. But, I'm reasonably happy with how the studio version has come out. 
This is the last time I rely on someone else to record my music.

Familiar Forest is all about exploring, getting lost and being amazed along the way. I did all of the above at their beautiful festival a couple of weeks ago, but I also played a set that at least made me very happy.

I got the opportunity to turn the small basement into a sweaty rave bunker in the middle of the Saturday night, which gave me the chance to blend together a lot of tracks I don’t combine in one set very often. And girl did I love that 😍

Let’s call it tribal deephouse with a dirty hip hop twist, or come up with a better name after listening to it. Thanks FFF for having me ❤️
