I have constructed this set like a story : the pathway of feeling/being different from the dominated representations and norms of the society. Starting with SEGA dreamcast intro, referencing the innocence you have in your childhood, when you only start noticing and experiencing these questions. Also Sega is my father’s name which I found funny. Then I played a lot of experimental and sometimes harsh tracks related to this unpleasant feeling or this internal conflit of not accepting yourself. And the more the set goes on the more it evolves like the process of getting to know yourself more/accept and embrace yourself. It’s not a constant path, there are ups and downs, very different energies but that’s what makes it interesting. Also I wanted to finish with a more light and melodic track to symbolize just how worthwhile the journey is. 
While creating this set I was really thinking about the little black girl I was, very complexed and who did not like herself and did not see her true beauty and interest. It was not always easy growing in a white masculine dominated world and trying desperately to fit in. Many of us are experiencing this feeling. This subject can be extended to other oppressions, based on sexuality, gender... 
To conclude I wanted this dj set to speak to a larger number of people. I see it as a narrative set but also an empowering set, saying « you’re not alone, let’s support each other and give to everyone the power to be who they are and who they want to be, no concessions ».

Agustin G was born in Uruguay in the year 1998 and grew up listening to all sorts of music from electronic and rock to disco. At age 8 he picked up the guitar and still plays nowadays. A few years later at 15 he picked up the drums, bass and piano and started producing his own music. Later at 19 he got seriously into electronic and dance music and started going to illegal raves and parties. At the same time he started producing music and a few years fastforward also publishing it. His biggest influences have been Straitjacket, DJ Beverly Hill$, early Narkotek releases and the losprimeross vii vi youtube channel.

A true master of high-intensity, ruthless and bizarre compositions. A fascinating underground approach to the musical mix. Aggressive and melodic vibrations are what the planet is showing us at the moment.

Productrice et DJ, BRUM est d’abord sound designeuse de profession.Son style musical s’émancipe grâce à une ingéniosité vive et par un éclectisme sonore assumé. Toujours menés par une ligne conductrice harmonieuse, BRUM mêle habilement techno mentale et industrielle, de manière toujours surprenante. Inspirée par des rythmes tirés du gabber, elle aime inclure dans ses mix kicks hards et breaks pour créer des univers mentaux et hypnotiques et comme vous le savez, chez metanoia on adore ça !
Habituée du Ninaksi Gerland, son ascension l’a conduite à partager les mêmes plateaux que SPFDJ, Mac Declos, Narciss,DJ Heartstring ou encore François X, témoignant de sa crédibilité grandissante sur la scène électronique. Co fondatrice du collectif Crystal Numbers, elle souhaite développer un espace de liberté dédié à l’expérimentation sonore, en lien avec d’autres supports artistiques. Membre du collectif Lyonnais Corymb, elle entame cette nouvelle saison avec l’annonce de sa première résidence chez Infrason, collectif Incontournable de la scène Grenobloise.
