It started in ‘02, as an interest of the scene and soon became the progression of a self-taught passion. Mikey Wong has infiltrated Western Canada’s house music scene and has proved to be one of the most remarkable and acclaimed DJs. In just the last few years, Mikey has proven his ability to open up for and play in front of 5000+ ppl, alongside some of the best DJs in the world (such as Dj AM, David Guetta, Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Laidback Luke, Kaskade, Tommy Lee & DJ Aero, Eric Prydz, Pete Tong, The Swedish House Mafia, John Digweed, Benny Benassi, MC Flipside and Many More).

Mikey Wong has held numerous successful residencies in all of Edmonton's Hottest clubs since 2008 from The Bank Ultra Lounge, The Treasury Vodka Bar, Vinyl Retro Lounge & still currently Twist Ultra Lounge. Once one of the key members of one of the most respected promotions companies in Canada, Connected Entertainment; “One of 'North America's most forward thinking' entertainment companies” according to Pete Tong. 

Mikey is known to be consistently innovative and continues to turn heads as his versatility, technique, showmanship and undeniable energy only prove to inspire a room from the early hours of the night onward. His distinct style and sound will inevitably continue to evolve over the years and the one thing this ambitious DJ makes sure is to introduce something different and fresh. He has begun his journey into music production attending a well respected school out of Los Angeles called Icon Collective.  Expect nothing but quality and a good time when Mikey Wong is on deck.


...we trace back to the year of 2006 when he first started throwing parties with Burned compilations CD's he would make for his parties at his house, out behind schools in similar such a way as what would be termed HARDCORE parties. To Later that Year, when he stumbled upon Treehouse Records's Old location where he was Schooled in the ways of Techno by none other then Rob "Tryptomene" Himself. It was by 2007 that he would go out and pick up his first set of STANTON Vynil Turntables and begin his Vinyl collection and truely his Journey of this world as a DJ. he went on to Play 3 JADED RAVER Events @ Endzone. He continued playing outdoor gigs every year for 3 years there after for CANADA DAY. Countless House parties. 2 Annual Wing It Wednesday Dj Competitions, 1st as a Hardstylist and then the second time as a DUBstep Dj. He also played Hard Dance/Hard trance alongside Dezire @ LEVEL 2 for CRASH BASS WEDNesdays (HardHouse Wednesdays). Self Promoted his Own Hardstylez Events at Brixx Bar & Grill, just beneath STARLITE ROOM.  Spun Hardstylez @ The RAVE CAVE.  Did Mine Field Mondays alongside Dj Phoenix. Spun @ The Ledge Grounds for numerous Outdoor events.
