The lions didn’t interrupt once, though the cub did snicker from time to time. “You belonged to Magistrate Tiger?” the cub said, when Dragon finished. “That means you’re the terrible dragon! You’re the one that destroyed the king’s father’s palace. What a lot of trouble you caused!” Dragon looked at the older lions questionigly. Filmus pays his respect to Alexandria and Pleiades. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can reveal the beauty of history and mythology. Cedro and Madma are dreamers with pale blue eyes.

Today they are giving away the remix ahead of their upcoming new Quixotic EP being released in September, featuring more original music along with remixes of Distant Pyramids by Michal Menert, Nominus, Space Jesus, and David Starfire. The new as yet unnamed EP will be engineered by none other than Ron Lorman, known for his work with Frank Zappa and Miles Davis in the 70’s and 80’s. This remix blends vibrant strings with driving drums and psychedelic sound bites giving this track an other-worldly feel.

The Great Old Ones are fictional creatures, originally from the literary work of the writer H.P Lovecraft.

The concept of "Great Old Ones" remains undefined since it designates several kinds of entities according to the more or less biased perception of the narrators. Lovecraft's most famous creation, sometimes venerated as deities by certain mortals, is Cthulhu, a gigantic, sprawling creature.

For this compilation, the artists were each inspired by one of the creatures from the Lovecraftian bestiary in order to create a personal musical definition.
