I really like this track. it is playful and sophisticated. great chords and melodies. the only thing I can't decide is if I like the aggressive drums behind it. on one hand Im not sure it suits the music. but on the other hand...

The kick sound a bit muddy/blurry imo, the mixing stage could be wider, but other than that it is a very good track, especially considering in was put together in a hurry. The composition is interesting, diverse and well structured, the sound design is great.

Very well-constructed groove. Percussion is great in my opinion, especiatially the snare. I love how all the parts combine together - very satisfying.

Sneaky...making the mix distinctly less important by simply writing fine and thoroughly enjoyable music. :D  Great drum design, btw. Not to mention lead playing.

This track has a very Nintendo game vibe and probably would have fitted in with a game like Mario Kart. The only downside in the sound was some of the were maybe too HiFi and could have been bit crushed more.

really uplifiting vibes and some intricate chord changes going on throughout the tune, nice use of altered chords. i think some additional attention to the sound design on the percussion would really take this one up a notch. these are always hard comments b/c i'm basically telling you i would have done it differently, and i have no idea if that would work with your artistic vision. nice work vert

Really solid percussion and cohesion of sounds in this piece. You got a lot out of this little synth.

All sounds were created using only kHs ONE by Kilohearts from scratch. No samples are used.
Khs Reverb is used on some channels. The rest of DSPs / effects are Absolutely Native (Renoise).

Made with 59 instances of kHs ONE. I wanted to create something evocative of taking my kids to see the sunrise for the first time. It is an incredible experience. The sheer power of the light and warmth hitting them was amazing to see. A true balance of beauty and power. I hope you enjoy  the tune.

Analog Sunrise

Felt like jumping out of the rut by joining OSC on its last two days! It definitely got me moving, though I wasn't able to dig into the sound design with as much nuance as I wanted (especially since the khs fx were legal!) Perhaps it's for the best. Today I bring some practice writing synthy rock and then noodling with it at dnb tempo. There wasn't enough time to really polish it or solo over it, but I'm still happy. If the mix sucks that's my excuse :D

All sounds generated from 20 instances of ONE. Despite the name, it's... a polysynth. The saws sound pretty good and I would reach for this for chords and distorted leads. Though, creating all the sounds with it seems to make it feel a bit fuzzy and murky, especially when leaning heavily on the onboard FX and unison. A byproduct of using turbo hyper saws for every instrument!

Speaking of FX, most instances use both the chorus and delay. kHs' own Essentials, Slice EQ, Snap Heap and Multipass plugins are used in mixing, mostly some broad EQ and compression to make things gel more instead of using them as creative effects. Except on the drums, where I have kHs Disperser beefing up the impacts. It's tremendous.
