that resonatery (?) percussive thing carries the atmosphere perfectly, in such a great complementary contrast to the drums - fabulous

in an alternative universe it could really launch into a stripped down dancey trancy thing building the kick and evolving...wherever...

Delivering Papers in the Rain (OSC 167 Tension - any DAW synth)

Made with one instance of Alchemy in Logic, played live for OSC 167. Tried to reproduce the sound i remember playing recitals as a kid in a large hall that was rented out at the time. I used a compressor to ensure no peaks and a channel eq with a gentle shelving cut to remove some low-end flutter I couldn't figure out how to tame with synthesis or Alchemy's built-in EQ. No other plugins. Fun synthesis challenge, combined with a compositional challenge.

Idk if i really should keep making music. No one has told me my music is good other than my friends and my family. and they have at least some sort of stigma towards it.

My plays are botted, i didn't ask for that, it just happened. And i hate it, it makes it seem like I'm a faker and i wont deserve anything that i have made.

I know I'm not even that good. which I'm being honest about. I don't wanna think about it but I know it's true. A girl stopped talking to me which i planned on meeting her that night. I made that cover day after that. I wanna kill myself a lot too but hahah I'm not gonna get into that.

I'm still debating on even making music. A lot of people just tell me "make beats get rid of rapping". It's true, I'm a better beat maker than rapper. But i really can't help what I wanna make.

If you do listen to this, which most doubtly is no, pls know this may be the last thing i make. and idk if its even good

This album was originally about love. But i think it's more than that, its just me loving music. I made it cause i love doing it. And even if it doesn't blow up, most likely it wont. I want someone to find this 10 years down the line and say. "Hey this non-binary gay kid loved this. and they were good at it."

If everything on this account dies, that's all I want. I just want them to know i loved it.
