Detroit based electro and techno artist Francois Dillinger (Natural Sciences, Blind Allies, Dionysian Mysteries) collaborates with LDI Records owner Lloyd Stellar for the imprint's third vinyl release. Machine Men EP sees the pair working in a deep and contemplative sonic world, inspired by the potential future where the relationship between man and machine becomes blurred. 

The story of this EP takes place on a future earth, at a time where technological performance enhancing implants push identities of human and machine into a gray area which is no longer binary. On this earth, conservative groups oppose this development, stuck in the idea that machines are subordinate to humans. The EP explores this oppression of different ideas around identity, finding parallels with the same discourse and challenges that today we see in modern society and the fight against conservative, populist right wing politics to create an accepting and equal world. Specializing in moody, atmospheric electro, LDI Records (Lloyd's Dark Imperium) are an essential label to watch. Distributed worldwide by Clone Distribution, while the Dutch label's main focus is on vinyl releases, available in selected record shops across the globe, releases will also be available digitally.

Rhythmic sound design, modular acrobatics, and bass-heavy, SMPL SMPL (aka Simas Petkevičius) takes fractured industrial tropes and intermixes them with rugged downtempo electro. It’s a recipe of fluid electronics from the outer edges, dark and brooding, rolling and rumbling its way through. Have a listen to the opening three tracks (“Crystallization,” “Layers,” and “A Quite Place”)—their penchant for crunchy low-end expanses and soundtrack motifs aligns with artists like Gescom, Einoma, and Richard Devine as well as familiar imprints like Roulette Rekordz (don’t miss SMPL SMPL’s Portals EP from 2021), Cultivated Electronics, and Furthur Electronix. Our next premiere comes to us from high-demand French producer @Maelstrom. Following a career spanning fifteen years of aliases, side projects and illegal raves, @Maelstrom joins @Cultivated-Electronics for the ECZO EP.

This vinyl release features three fresh originals of quality dance-floor Electro, backed with a remix from label-head Sync 24. The record epitomizes the classic Maelstrom sound-design of pacy acid lines and flawless machine-based beats. The track I chose to premiere for @DarkScienceElectro is the title track of the EP. This bass-heavy brooding affair is stocked to the brim with intricate dazzling percussion and beautiful sweeping pads that build pressure over this 5 minute track. PREMIERE: Maelstrom - Eczo (Cultivated Electronics)

For our next premiere, I'm happy to present to you a track by @The-Exaltics featuring Gerald Donald (aka Rudolph Klorzeiger) - "Das Heise Experiment 2" marks the 6th album of The Exaltics and the 45th release of their, now 11-year-old label, @Solar_One_Music

This fantastic double 10" vinyl release is not going to disappoint anyone who is familiar with the work of @The-Exaltics and their label. Its amazing presentation sets it apart in a big way with full-color artwork (by Godspill), unique packaging and included comic book make this a must-have for any fan of contemporary Electro music. The music contained within this release range from dark experimental Techno, Electro, Ambient and soundtrack-ish nightmares which goes perfectly with the story of the comic. 

The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere for @DarkScienceElectro is the collaboration track between @The-Exaltics and the one and only Rudolph Klorzeiger. This track is one of a handful of standouts on the release, however, this composition really struck me as the single. If not for its obvious collaborative pull, for its 125 BPM speed and Electro-focused nature. The elastic bassline and creepy strings pull you in while a well-crafted lead synth conjures images of private investigators on a distant planet attempting to solve a mystery. 

This record is absolutely not club music which is one of the reasons why I was so excited to get the opportunity to premiere a track from the release. This and much of what SOM has been doing is one of the reasons I started a weekly podcast to begin with. This dark, strange, cold side of Electro music is why I do what I do and I'm very proud to share this with you all. Turn your headphones on and dive into the world of aliens, scientists, and distant galaxies.

This Swedish trio are blazing a path into the future with oldskool, nuskool, floor burning electro-breaks tunes. Sounding out all the way from Malmo, Sweden
get ready for some of the most well produced , new and  interesting electro to come around for a long time.  The Blotnik Brothers make it look easy, think Chemical Brothers producing straight up electro , with tracks such as "Ergo" licensed by the likes of Dave Clark for his World Tour 2 LP.  What makes the Blotniks so special is their sound, its theirs to own and the invivible skill at which they present it to the listener.  They occupy a dark and at times warm , optomistic sonic wunderland full of fantasy and mystique, story tellers by their own right. After their firs two ep's on Satamile we are proud to present their first LP "Mizuage"a masterpiece of rythmic , tonal  variation that makes its mark on the world.  Allready "Mizuage" is charting nu 15 in the National College Radio charts for rpm (electronica). Surrounded by major labels this is a astonishing accomplishment.  
    The Blotnik Brothers are three friends that started recording and working together several years ago in Malmo, Sweden, Martin, Roberto, and Patrick. Each one has specific task in production. Roberto is really the head technician, Patrick writes and does the vocals while Martin helps with production and gives informative esthetic insight. All three are very creative with their talenst focused in different areas but converging together to produce the Blotnik Brothers.  Its quite rare to find three artist 


Outburn Magazine Review:
Evil Break-Dance music: The Blotnik Brothers "Mizuage", is the kind of album you'd expect to hear blasting out of a Decepticon Night Club on the planet of Cybertron, assuming such a place even existed in the first place. This trio of  Swedes (who incidently, arent actually brothers at all) make dark, hard hitting electro that sounds like it came from another planet, the kind of planet either inhabited by intelligent robots or aliens who grew up listening to intercepted transmissions of Kraftwerk, Africa Bambata, and 90's EBM. Blending old school hip-hop,  neo-electro, acid breaks, and modern EBM, the Blotnik Brothers have created a dark and dirty album that bumps and booms with menacing bass stabs,  funky breaks, and evil robot vocals. There is very little filler to be found on this 11 track outing, and electro Dj's can pretty much pick and choose what they want to play from this release since about every cut is a surefire floor filler. Even EBM dj's might come across a few gems as well, like the menacing "Dont Worry You Won't Dissolve", which sound like it could have come off the latest Headscan release. Its no surprise that New Yorks Satamile Records picked up on this trio, since the label seems to have the market cornered on outstanding electro at the moment.
