“Going down into the valley, everything fell into place. How the audio bounced around the trees, and the visitors almost blended into the nature around them. Playing this set in the morning, just as the sun was rising above the nearby mountains, and the inhabitants of the valley was waking up, was an absolute treat.”

We found out about this song on James Holden's Balance 05 Mix CD (still to this day one of the best mix CD's ever made)

So, when Ministry of Sound records asked us to remix it a year later, we jumped at the chance and treated it with kid gloves.

A journey in an almost literal sense. Martinou provides an hour of contemporary-leaning minimal with that early 2010s sonic flavour. The Swedish native provides a masterclass in building expectations and maintaining flow through expert layering and track selection. Really entrancing.
