Valencia’s Días de Campo Records welcomes Hessa for his debut on the label -  and the result is as confident as it is contagious. The 2Vilas co-founder and mastermind behind the sought-after vinyl-only edit series Get A Life and label COSMOS opens his new four-tracker “Funky Talks” with “What’s This Shaker” - a no-nonsense, groove-heavy weapon that instantly demands attention.

From the first bar, it’s clear Hessa knows exactly how to handle tension and repetition. The bassline hits with muscular precision - round, propulsive, and full of that kinetic bounce that makes hips move before the brain catches up. Layered atop are the kind of filtered vocals only the most confident producers can pull off: the sassy, diva-esque fragments, the “in the air” whispers - all orbiting the loop like satellites, teasing familiarity without ever giving too much away.

There’s a hypnotic simplicity to it - that classic trick of turning minimal elements into something massive through pure groove science. The track loops, morphs, evolves - each bass variation tightening the grip, each drop stretching the dancefloor’s collective patience in the best way possible. Not so far from the Manchester lights, Gudj finds his inspiration beneath the northern skies of England. He slips away from the noise of everyday life, finding solace among rolling hills, cold air, and endless horizons. It is here that his latest transmissions were captured.

The result is Memories, and Frame Delay, two deeply emotive minimal house journeys that bridge the organic and the cosmic. Pulsing low-end warmth meets delicate high-frequency shimmer, painting a soundscape that feels both human and interplanetary - a reflection of Gudj’s fascination with the spaces between mood and movement.

Accompanying him in his journey, Daniel Meister and Etzu Mahkayah each carve their own paths through Gudj’s sound universe. Daniel stretches the pulse into hypnotic territory, whilst Mahkayah folds time into itself, crafting echoes that seem to move backward and forward at once. Together, they form a constellation of sound.

Sounds Over Seas is ready to release its very first LP by label founder Julian Bainbridge. The album covers aspects of the Deep House genre in its classic definition, pushing certain boundaries, whilst maintaining the spirit of the genre through feeling and utilising melodies and rhythm to evoke emotions which go beyond the dance floor. Keeping it raw throughout the nine tracks, each one incorporates different elements of the music spectrum. Implementing jazzy tweaks, minimalistic rhythms, haunting melodies as well as ambience and globals sounds in a full dancing and listening experience.

All songs produced and mixed by Julian Bainbridge except 1,2,7 mixed by Manolo and 8 mixed by Matuli. All tracks mastered by Manolo at Superbueno Studios Neukölln.
