PREMIERE: Joaquín Gliese - Arkheion, les voix (CL-ljud Remix) [ELEUTHERIA010]

Rødhåd presents: CRIMSON RUBEUS - the first compilation on WSNWG - BACK TO ZERO will be released on April 3rd.
Under the leitmotif “WE SEE NEW WORLDS GROWING”, the release marks a progression for the imprint to open up for solo releases from new artists and and long term collaborators.

The compilation features 8 tracks handpicked by Rødhåd, each characterized by a vigorous commitment to the dancefloor while staying true to the label's signature - hard-to-resist sound with a pinch of mystery. Over the past year, these unreleased tracks quickly became favourites in Rødhåd's DJ sets, resulting in the idea of curating them in a compilation. The emergence of new worlds is undeniably tangible: 'CRIMSON RUBEUS' signals a new era of creative exchange and different artistic expression for WSNWG - BACK TO ZERO.  As the label opens up to a wider variety of artists, we find both emerging talent represented and producers who already appeared on the label before. 

While every contribution has its distinct magnetic pull, marking the way to a nascent world, the crimson red thread running through this compilation is perpetuating, swirling techno with an acute fit for the dancefloor. As with previous releases Rødhåd crafted the artwork for the compilation, this time drenched in crimson hues echoing the energy of the music.

LOS, a dedicated producer/Dj currently residing in California’s Ojai region, a place he describes as a vortex, and Beckhäuser; founder of fratii.ro Records, a man who needs no introduction—first connected through a mutual desire and appreciation of the mystery and vast world within minimal sound. For the new Waswotsch issue, we were able to convince our friend from the Zurich mountains to share two of his treasures—Ron Rüegg, aka Rjega, has been a busy and nerdy producer and live act for two decades. He also shares his deep knowledge of audio production and synths as a teacher and mentor. The Champagne Glow EP is an excellently crafted 2-tracker with the title track "Champagne Glow", a finely balanced dancefloor groover in which Rjega's love for early UK rave sound is audible. "Tremble" is a light and delicate track that can be located somewhere in the deep house universe. A fascinating EP that will get you through the dark winter months healthy and happy.
