Born from the static of a decaying system,
VETRÅ channels the brutal pulse of dystopian techno. The project stands at the intersection of chaos and precision, where raw mechanical force meets hypnotic rhythm. Each sound is carved from distortion and decay, designed to pull listeners deep into a fractured industrial landscape.

VETRÅ embodies the unforgiving spirit of the underground: metallic, unrelenting, and emotionally charged. Inspired by the collapse of modern systems and the beauty found within ruin, the sound merges the aggression of Bochka with the atmosphere of cinematic darkness. This is not music built for comfort, it’s a confrontation, a descent, and a release.

Through each performance and production, VETRÅ transforms cold machinery into human expression. Channeling dystopian tension into energy, movement, and transcendence. The result is a visceral experience that strips everything back to the core: rhythm, distortion, and pure industrial power.

Discarnate is a DJ, producer, and techno activist who is the co-founder and resident DJ of PLEXUS, the most prominent Industrial Techno event series in Australia.

Deeply influenced by a background in Hardcore and Metal, Discarnate’s sound embodies an uncompromising aesthetic of violence and momentum. Aggressive, chaotic, and blistering percussive rhythms crash together while harsh synth lines scream overhead and an ominous ambience pervades the space in between. Discarnate’s mixes are hard and fast, bombarding dance floors with an arsenal of oppressive, gritty, and sinister Industrial Techno weapons, which dynamically coalesce to produce a vision of Rave that is equal parts fear-inducing and exhilarating.

Discarnate has cemented themselves as an Industrial Techno staple, not only through music work and activism in nurturing rising local talents in Australia’s revitalized underground scene, but also by having supported and played alongside many international Techno heavyweights such as PERC, Rebekah, I Hate Models, WNDRLST, Ansome, Alien Rain, Mickey Nox, VENDEX, Køzløv to name just a few.

With releases on labels such as Insane Industry, Das Kollective, Subrosa Records, PUREHATE, Interzeak, Regression Records, Genesi Records and on their own imprint Extortion Sounds Records, they further build upon the unshakeable power and ruthlessness of their sound. Recently just joining the Octane Agency based out of Naarm, Discarnate has their sights set on ravaging the dance floors of the post-pandemic international stage.
