gega.fisk means wrong in Eritrean and fish in Swedish. Its meaning encapsulates the feeling of being an outsider, malplaced in your own environment. It is also the individual names of gega and fisk, who together share their personal experiences as manifestations of their own reality, translated through music and socio-critical poetry. It delivers an illicit message of trauma, rage and healing and a comment on the daily struggles they face. Relinquishing the freedom of shredding sonic arbitrary, their bass driven sounds encapsulate emotional journeys through odd soundscapes and (ir)regular beats.
