I began making music in my late teens, round 1988, with a casio sampler and a tape machine. 

Initially I wanted to make electro pop similar to Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. 

Then Detroit Techno hit. 



Lindsey Stirling composes, choreographs, and directs all of her original music and videos - merging unique violin stylings and electronic dubstep beats with animated contemporary dance. Her wide array of videos are all available on her Lindseystomp YouTube channel, which rings in at over 3.6 million subscribers and has tallied over 470 million hits. Viewership is overwhelmingly enthusiastic: the ice-themed “Crystallize” at over 78 million; her fiery “Elements” at 33 million; and the silhouette-performing “Shadows” at 30 million.
