MWTE est un groupe de musique électronique originaire de Metz. Si les premiers morceaux à forte tendance electronica datent de 2012, c'est fin 2013 avec la sortie d'un premier EP et les premiers concerts, que le quartet sort de la petite chambre dans laquelle il enregistre ses morceaux jusqu'ici.

Ce premier EP, Attraction To Light, est produit par Victor Ferreira (Sun Glitters) et masterisé par Antony Ryan (isan). Il comporte deux morceaux, ainsi que des remixes par Chapelier Fou, Sun Glitters, Herr2003 et Armagnac. L'EP est rapidement remarqué par un certain nombre de blogs musicaux (Hillydilly, Bitcandy, Soniscope, Novorama...).

Les concerts, eux, mènent le groupe du Festival Musiques Volantes (Atom TM, Discodéine, Elektro Guzzi...) au Out Of The Crowd (avec Breton, Siriusmo...), en passant par l'Exit07 (avec Baths) et L'Autre Canal (en compagnie de Pégase et Rich Aucoin), jusqu'aux festival des Inrocks Lab à la Gaité Lyrique (en mai 2014). Lors de ces dates, MWTE s'éloigne de la caricature du live electro : avec basse, guitare, voix et effets le groupe joue au milieu du public, une proximité favorisant probablement l'immersion dans le voyage intérieur proposé.

Quant à la musique, puisque c'est avant tout de cela dont il qu'est question, elle n'est pas si simple à définir, comme l'indiquent les multiples étiquettes hâtivement collées au groupe : chillwave ? Dream pop ? Postrock électronique ? Peu importe, finalement, tant que les rythmes, les mélodies et la délicatesse qui se dégagent de leurs compositions nous emportent au-delà, pour une odyssée où l’on se surprend à danser... dedans.

MWTE is an electronic band from Metz. While the first electronica tracks were made in 2012, the quartet came out of their small recording room late 2013 for their first shows along with their debut EP.

This EP, Attraction To Light, was produced by Victor Ferreira (Sun Glitters) and mastered by Antony Ryan (Isan). It contains two original tracks and remixes by Chapelier Fou, Sun Glitters, Herr2003 and Armagnac. The EP was quickly noticed by a number of music blogs (Hillydilly, Bitcandy, Soniscope, Novorama...).

The shows brought the band to the festival Musiques Volantes (Atom TM, Discodéine, Elektro Guzzi...) the Out Of The Crowd fest (with Breton, Siriusmo...), Exit07 (with Baths), L'Autre Canal (with Pégase and Rich Aucoin), and to the festival Les Inrocks Lab at the Gaîté Lyrique (May 2014). Live, MWTE tends to keep away from the electro show caricature : with bass, guitars, vocals and various effects the band plays at the center of the audience, a proximity that favours the immersion into an inner voyage.

The music itself is not simple to describe, as some have hastily labelled it : Chillwave ? Dream Pop ? Electronic Postrock ? It matters little as long as the the rhythm, the melodies and the finesse that emerges from their compositions carry us beyond, to an odyssey in which we find ourselves dancing... Inside.

Trestle records is a London based record label dedicated to putting out new instrumental music started by four friends in east london during 2011. Ranging from electronic to modern classical, postrock to musique concrete the focus is broad. They also host the ONE DAY BAND sessions, a regular improv session where musicians meet in a fully equipped and engineered studio to make a record in a day.

"Moonlit Sailor isn't reinventing the post-rock genre. They are well on their way to perfection it"

Moonlit sailor is a four piece indie-postrock band from Borås, Sweden. the band started out as an indie rock band in late 2006 when the members were only 16-18 years old. the band had a new interesting indie rock sound, often described as melodic, emotional and powerfull.

The members of moonlit sailor are the best of friends and met the first time when they started study in elementary school. at the age of 12, three of the members started to learn how to play and formed a band. a couple of years later the fourth member took place and they started to develop a new sound that eventually turned into a completely new band, known as moonlit sailor.

In 2007 the band decided to go intrumental. in the creation of the music the band realized that the intrumental parts were always in focus. to go intrumental felt natural for the bands further development.

Soon after the formation of moonlit sailor, the band self-released their very first demo entitled “moonlit sailor”. two years later in may 2008 the band released their first instrumental CD entitled “A Footprint Of Feelings”. the new instrumental songs had a new interesting sound but still you could hear it was moonlit sailor. the band became for many listeners worldwide known as a post-rock band with a unique sound based on strong melodies and dynamics mixed with emotional, captivating and powerfull soundscapes.

In relation to the release of “A Footprint Of Feelings” the band hit the road and completed their first european tour, containing gigs in sweden, denmark, germany, czech republic, netherlands and belgium. The tour were booked and arranged all by themselves.

The 17th of november 2009, moonlit sailor released their second album “So Close To Life” on one of the world’s most respected independent labels; Deep Elm Records. Moonlit Sailor is currently signed to Deep Elm Records and have also released records on record labels in Japan and China.

Dystopian Postrock , Energetic Psychedelia with some shananogons and mishmash thrown in for good measure.
