This was a live mix playing a stack of old Taiwanese pop records trying to capture the island's take on funk, disco and garage in the 1970s. It was recorded live off the decks during a three-month residency at W Hotel, Taipei Yen Bar in Jul-Sep 2022.

Hello 

Thanks for being here. I’m from the south of England but live in Taiwan. 

I’ve been playing around with synths and in bands, on and off, since the mid eighties and have had interest in all kinds of electronic music since then.  I have enjoyed some minor commercial success with my own productions. 

I discovered Reason, in 2004, then switched to Ableton to accommodate an X50 and Vsynth before moving to Record and then back to R6.  Soundcloud is my musical home online. I like the simplicity. 

Of course, music is my passion. I care not about trends in music. I just like to find that groove of inspiration that comes from that special place inside. My work is varied but usually positive, relaxing – albeit with an edge. I would be happy to know if you enjoyed any of it.

I would also be interested to hear from anyone concerning any commercial projects.
