IT'S TIME

Formed on a dusty road, Sugarpuss are an all girl five piece roaming country collective.  Drawing inspiration from the land and ... farm animals, these good time gals will twang the strings of you heart with their sweet soulful harmonies.
  
After a hard days mustering, kick back on the porch and whittle a stick.  But don’t be fooled, it ain’t all iced vovo’s.  Life on the land can be tough and these sassy sisters know how to wrangle a bullock or two.  

As they head west across the plains with guns a’ blazing, you’re in for a bumpy ride.  Best you can do is hang on tight and pray to your mama.

Original song writing happens collectively between this band of bandidas. 

With songs such as ‘Boo Hoo Sue’ and ‘I got kicked in the head by a big teeted cow’ expect honest story telling told with laughter, joy and a whip lash of humour dry as the farm in drought time.
Songs sweet enough to shed a tear give you a moment to catch your breath between toe tappin tunes and rollicking romps that are hot enough to burn the barn down.   

Yes indeedy, their fresh milk brings all the boys to the paddock!

Tim Johnson, aka Vibemaster is a Musician and Producer, Film Score and Sound Design Artist from Melbourne, Australia. 
Tim has been DJing and producing music since 2003 and as the name suggest he has never been one to be defined by genre. His electronic music encompasses a broad spectrum of original and remix material from hip hop and glitched out dub to deep progressive house/techno and disco.
Since 2012 Tim has worked as an audio engineer in both live and studio environments and also in the film industry in a variety of roles such as Film Scoring, Sound Design, Location Sound, Boom Operator, Dialogue Editor, ADR, Film Mixing and Mastering.
In 2015, Tim was awarded 'Best Original Score' for the short film 'Best Before' (Kaylene Tyler- director) at the Festigious Film Festival, up against 100 other short and feature film entries. He has a slew of Short film works under his belt and is working on two features films - ‘Astro Loco’ and ‘The Fort’ both currently in production.
 
Under his alter ego Vibemaster and as main composer and conductor for the 10 piece funk/afro/dub collective 'The Vibraphonic Orkestra' Tim has played just about every good Melbourne music venue on the list. He has also performed at numerous high profile events around Australia such as Rainbow Serpent Festival 2010/ 2011/ 2013/ 2017 , Solar Eclipse Festival Cairns 2012, Wide Open Space 2012 , Folk Rhythm and Life 2012/ 2014/ 2016/ 2018, St Kilda Festival 2012 /2016 /2017, and most recently, making his foray into the international circuit with performances at Quest Festival, Hanoi, Vietnam 2017 and Jai Thep Festival, Chiang Mai, Thailand 2018/2019.
