The title track from Scott McFarnon’s forthcoming EP, CRAZY HEART, will be released before Christmas and the track is sampled on the next video from viral trial bike star Danny MacAskill, who performed a record breaking stunt on the River Thames with help from Microsoft’s personal assistant, Cortana.

Scott’s EP is produced and recorded with producer of the moment Rob Kirwan, who is known for his work with U2, Flood and most recently Hozier’s hit debut album, including the international single TAKE ME TO CHURCH.

Freak Caroline

Matthew and Me create alternative pop of a delicate nature, serene and intimate at times with an unnerving ability to enter the titanic and bold. 

New single ‘Kitsune’ is another brave illustration of this, beginning sweetly with Board’s vocal riding atop a docile guitar mantra, before erupting into a gigantic leviathan of a chorus. Recorded in the band’s home studio, the track was co-produced by Chris Bond and mastered by Joe LaPorta.

It’s not surprising that Matthew and Me draw influence from the vast soundscapes of artists such as Sigur Ros and Mogwai as well as the essential charm of Asgeir, resulting in songs that can both sound like whispers and fill cathedrals.

‘Kitsune’ follows the release of ‘Patterns’ in late 2014, which featured heavily on 6 Music, XFM, and Radio 1. The release culminated in the band performing a ten-date headline tour of the UK and subsequent bookings followed for a host of summer festivals including Field Day and Glastonbury.

Dreamy soundscapes, urban beats and nordic coolness is what you get when you throw Positano, Milan, and Gothenburg into a mix. Throw in Claudio Pallone, Alfonso Fusco, and Aldo Axha and you get Emmecosta; a Gothenburg based post-club trio. Emmecosta is the new soul act of electro-writing. In their own words they describe their music as alternative dream pop that “celebrates intimate landscapes through a melancholic stream that merges with dreamy vocal narratives.” 
Both Claudio and Alfonso are from Positano and grew up playing music together. Aldo on the other hand is from Milan and came to Sweden to study Anthropology of Art. Having moved to Sweden around the same time, and with backgrounds as students they came into contact. Music built up their friendship, and music will build up their careers. 

Claudio, Alfonso, and Aldo moved to Sweden because they needed a new backdrop for their music, a place far enough away from home it would allow fresh approaches and ideas. It didn’t take long for Emmecosta to understand that Gothenburg was the place for them. The northern air has impacted their overall sound, creating a somewhat new alphabet. UNTIED their upcoming debut EP has emerged from this new alphabet. 

Artistic in their own right, they put a lot of emphasis on not only their sound but also the visual process. They draw inspiration from what they refer to “intimate dreams”- where visions of feelings communicate truth and where truth is as loud as hope.

GLINTS is born out of a love for language, luscious sentences, and sincere music. Growing up in Belgium (Antwerp) with a British background proved to be a fertile breeding ground for the creation of an original sound that combines elements of hip-hop, electronic music, and pop. GLINTS is the brainchild of Jan Maarschalk Lemmens. The inciting event however, consisted of meeting and collaborating with producer Jergan Callebaut (VUURWERK) and guitarist/producer Mathias Bervoets. The project sets out to titillate the senses whilst reinstating the importance of poetic quality in lyrics.
