This recording is a live DJ set and soundcheck from NYE Jan 2024. Thanks to the crew at Sonic Jungle & @Junxionnyc for all of the production and amazing work that went into this epic night at 1896 Studios. Can’t tell you how much I loved sharing the decks with you @MelissaXYZ as well as all of the talented artists to follow. Hope you feel the love as much as we did playing it for the beautiful party people and cast of strange and wonderful characters in the room that night. Brooklyn showed up strong, and here we give you the start to the epic journey right before the giant led bal dropped and the confetti flew. This party was dope AF and set off one of the best NYE of my life. A description of the tasty vibes curated by the organizers and participation from the community below.

Performances: Aerial and Dance Performances by Hybrid Movement Company.  10+ Immersive performances all night throughout the venue by top creators like Darrell Thorne, Modern Gypsies,  Akil Apollo, Sisters of the Blooming Sun, LED dragons, Stilt Walkers, Ritual Dances, and Balloon Drops.  -Digital Mapping throughout 3 areas of 40 ft ceilings creating interactive playgrounds to enjoy - Tarot Readings by Stars with Shelly, Stretch station by Hayley (Gaia Nomaya) About the Venue: 1896 studios is a legendary 20,000 sq ft location built in the 1800s with many massive 40ft ceilings and 3 rooms of adventures as well as a beautiful courtyard for some fresh air and immersive art cars to enjoy!

It was an honor to share my "voice of New York City" during night 2 of Venture X. The concept of the tour, I cried because it was the first time I started to understand my role. I support, I participate. I showcase the craft in New York. The flow of these kind of initiatives is not for the openers new single, it's for revolution. I will remember this for the rest of my life. To everyone on the dancefloor, Paul and his team, to my family over @Silo-brooklyn for producing the perfect scene, crew, the soundsystem, and anyone who listens to this set, I am forever grateful. Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.
