“Snatch A Style” is a short, previously unreleased bridging track, that can be found on the new 'Sherwood At The Controls Vol 2: 1985 - 1990' compilation. A small snippet of rhythm found on one of the many decaying quarter-inch reels in the label’s vaults that are currently being lovingly transferred and restored to life by DJ and On-U archivist Patrick Dokter. Most likely caught on tape whilst warming up for another session, in less than a minute it ably shows off the killer chops of Roots Radics and Dub Syndicate mainman, Lincoln Valentine ‘Style’ Scott. Tragically, Scott was gunned down at his home in Jamaica in 2014 - an incomprehensible act of brutality and a huge waste of musical talent.

July 10th 2020 marks exactly 10 years since the passing of Sugar Minott, one of the greatest Reggae singers of all time. Before his untimely death, Liondub had the honor of working with Sugar and came to appreciate not only his brilliant voice and musical talents, but also his kindness and passion for supporting his community and helping those less fortunate than himself. Sugar Minott’s spirit lives on and his music is his legacy. Liondub salutes the legend and proudly presents “Tribute”, a collection of new songs, remixes, VIP’s and re-masters. Rest In Peace Sugar Minott. Gone but never forgotten!

Of course, Dubblestandart have been keeping a version of the dub flame alive for the last two decades. Formed in 1988 as a reaction to the stagnant Austrian pop scene, the group was heavily inspired by the Black Ark, On-U Sound and Jah Shaka, infusing such dub influences within their heady blend of hardcore reggae and new wave, which soon brought them into the European public’s consciousness and as a kind of  „European“ version of the famous DUB SYNDICATE.  Soon, they were so in demand as to be backing Lee Scratch Perry, dub poet Lilian Allen, Dillinger, Ari Up, Ken Boothe, Marcia Griffiths, Chezere and orthers. 

Well,  Austria´s / Viennas´s finest moments in dub working and collaborating with the new technological dimension of modern dub : Paolo Baldini from Italy. 
Baldini´s stunning excursion into deep dub, chilling dub and dubble-tough dub will reach the DubFiles into perfection @ DUB ME CRAZY. 
	Paolo Baldini’s handling of this mission has been exemplary: his production and remixing skills are pleasingly individualistic, retaining plenty of originality and professionalism without seeming stoic, dull or contrived. His collaborations with Mellow Mood, Hempress Sativa, Dub Fx and others are showing faith of what DUB is living for. Since 2007 Paolo Baldini works under the top level name „Alambic Conspiracy“ and became world class dub extraordinary performer, bass player, mixologist, producer and provocateur...!

Carrie says,‘Women are so underrepresented in the New Zealand music, festival, DJ and reggae scenes. Vibration Lab is a production/dj duo/record label and events group based in London who create and promote: Future Digital Reggae. Over the last 10 years Vibration Lab have been on the cutting edge of the Reggae influenced BASS music scene in Europe. They have performed at The Glastonbury Festival, Outlook Festival, Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Lovebox, One Love Festival, Tokyo Dub, Madness's House Of Fun Festival and all around Europe including: Holland, Romania, Poland and Czech Republic. They have also travelled to the US and played at the famous Dub Mission in San Francisco. They have shared the stage with the likes of Mungo's Hifi, Dread Squad, Benny Page, Suggs from Madness, RSD, Radikal Guru, ShyFX, David Rodigan, Trojan Sound System, Twilight Circus, Conscious Sounds, Disciples, Alpha Steppa, The Bug, OBF, Mr.Williamz, Curtis Lynch, Ranking Joe, Panda Dub, King Shiloh, Alpha & Omega, Kenny Knotts, Charlie P, Jacky Murda, Dubkasm, YT , Solo Banton and Soom T just to name a few. They are also part one of the most exciting Reggae/Dub Soundsystems in the UK: (Reggae Roast ) who play all over England and have multiple residences in London. Vibration Lab works often as a DJ for thelegendary and  internationally known artist MC Brother Culture. Vibration Lab have recorded and remixed Reggae greats like: Linval Thompson, Rod Taylor, Wayne Jarrett. Vibration Lab have been associated with Dubby "Reggae influenced" Bass music but they have recently done two remixes pressed to vinyl:  Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution Feat. Skarra Mucci & Mandinka Warrior ?– Original (Vibration Lab Remix) on Nice-Up Records NPU028 7" and Sound Transmission Records-12"-Empress / Solo Banton Feat. Sabrina Bell + Gallang / Parly B - Vibration Lab Remix) which signal a shift to a more "Digital" Reggae sound. 

For their next project they have assembled a "super group" formed out of the "live" sessions on the Reggae Roast Soundsystem. At these dances the pair would select in a throw-back 80's style,in the fashion of "old-school"sounds like Youth Promotion in Jamaica, with teams of singers and mc's. Along with help of Reggae soundsystem veterans: Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel the pair went into the studio to re-create the energy and excitement of these dances and thus: Vibration Lab & The Digital Messiahs was born. The first single from this project will come out on the Vibration Lab label and is called: (Digital Messiahs Theme) feat:Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel. A full album of the project will be released this year!

Vibration Lab is also working with up and coming MC/Singer Natty Campbell on some new material to come out on the Vibration LabLabel, first release is called: Tell It To Dem on the Utica Riddim, which will be ot soon!
