Composed of band members Nasri Atweh (lead vocals), Mark Pelli (guitar), Alex Tanas (drums) and Ben Spivak (bass), MAGIC! is a reggae-pop quartet from Toronto, Canada who is winning without hesitation the hearts of listeners. The band itself is not new to the music business for it is made up of members who are well emerged in the music world. The bands lead, Nasri Atweh, is a Grammy award winning songwriter and producer. The United Nations Of Dub Weekender is back! Now in it’s second year, the worlds only family friendly multi day indoor dub, roots and reggae festival, the United Nations Of Dub Weekender (U.N.O.D Weekender) is back at Pontins ‘Prestatyn Sands’ self catering holiday park in North Wales from 28th – 30th March 2014 for another instalment of bass fuelled fun and games featuring over one hundred of the biggest artists and sound systems out there. Reggae Roast Records are proud to present the Lick It Back! compilation album. This 11 track release follows a string of widely popular singles on the Reggae Roast imprint which have seen support from both reggae lovers, DJs and music journalists alike. The Lick It Back! compilation is the second feature length offering from Reggae Roast, after their sell-out Roots Uprising compilation of December 2009.

The album features a selection of forthcoming Reggae Roast Records singles, some classic tracks from the label vaults, plus some of their favourite cuts from the past 12 months. The track list is typical of a Reggae Roast sound system selection. It features the type of conscious message, energy and vibes the crew have become synonymous with promoting, via weekly sets at top London clubs, rammed out festival sets and smoke filled warehouse dances.

Many of the tracks have already been tearing up the airwaves with full support on Kiss FM, 6Music and Rinse FM. The opening track ‘Reggae Music’, released on 12” vinyl in May this year was described as ‘truly awesome!’ by the godfather of UK reggae; Mr David Rodigan. The 4 track release received 5 star reviews from a long list of publications, paving the way for this momentous full-length release. Lick It Back! is destined for some heavy rotations over the summer months, blasting from speaker boxes & festival stages across the globe.

Reggae Roast is now one of the most vibrant, new reggae collectives in the UK and since 2007 they have been spreading their sound of conscious roots music across the globe. During this time they have contributed to some of the country’s greatest musical movements, including; Glastonbury, Fabric, Bestival, The Barbican, Jazz Café, The Big Chill, Camden Crawl, and Outlook Festival, while building a reputation as the freshest roots sound in town.

Following on from their guest show broadcast with David Rodigan on Kiss FM and with regular DJ bookings across Europe, founders Exel and Moodie now enjoy a bi-monthly residency event at The City Arts & Music Project Basement. Their ever popular basement session continues to promote the strength of real roots music and provides for the massive demand for a conscious and good natured club night. Vibration Lab works often as a DJ for thelegendary and  internationally known artist MC Brother Culture. Vibration Lab have recorded and remixed Reggae greats like: Linval Thompson, Rod Taylor, Wayne Jarrett. Vibration Lab have been associated with Dubby "Reggae influenced" Bass music but they have recently done two remixes pressed to vinyl:  Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution Feat. Skarra Mucci & Mandinka Warrior ?– Original (Vibration Lab Remix) on Nice-Up Records NPU028 7" and Sound Transmission Records-12"-Empress / Solo Banton Feat. Sabrina Bell + Gallang / Parly B - Vibration Lab Remix) which signal a shift to a more "Digital" Reggae sound. 

For their next project they have assembled a "super group" formed out of the "live" sessions on the Reggae Roast Soundsystem. At these dances the pair would select in a throw-back 80's style,in the fashion of "old-school"sounds like Youth Promotion in Jamaica, with teams of singers and mc's. Along with help of Reggae soundsystem veterans: Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel the pair went into the studio to re-create the energy and excitement of these dances and thus: Vibration Lab & The Digital Messiahs was born. The first single from this project will come out on the Vibration Lab label and is called: (Digital Messiahs Theme) feat:Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel. A full album of the project will be released this year!

Vibration Lab is also working with up and coming MC/Singer Natty Campbell on some new material to come out on the Vibration LabLabel, first release is called: Tell It To Dem on the Utica Riddim, which will be ot soon!
