I thought i would set my self a challenge with this original chilled trip-hop dub styled instrumental soundtrack, it is entirely created from a single 0.136 sec sample i recorded over the woods of a fly lifting up from a flower, I transformed the sample by mainly time stretching or using pitch shift and morphing the sounds through filters, effects and eq, all the sounds, beats and everything you hear are created from the one fly sample which i added to the beginning of the track just to show you how short and meaningless it is but how it can be transformed giving a full 100% fly flavour with which i take no responsibility for if you are attacked by millions of fly's by playing this track! lool Peace :D

The next edition of Jahtari’s highly collectable 7” series sees Maffi return with a big bad thing called Heidi Riddim. Built from the DNA of Sleng Teng – Heidi flips the scripts on this most classic of classics by taking it to the black keys, in a minor key style and fashion. With its thick deadly bass line at the fore, Heidi has been specifically engineered to kill tin pan sounds and discombobulate Babylonians.

First in line to ride this creation is special agent 001, Speng Bond, who comes correct to warn all those foolhardy enough to think it’s wise to ride the White Horse and ramp with cocaine. On the version, Jahtari’s chief dubologist, disrupt, investigates just how far this dangerous new strain of Sleng Teng can be mutated.

With the other 7”, also pon Heidi, it’s all about old meets new: On the A side, with Run Di Session, the 16 year-old Parisian phenomenon Junior Roy demonstrates exactly why he has been creating such a wave amongst discerning dancehall fans lately. His distinctive vocal style bears uncanny similarities to the likes of Little Kirk and Yami Bolo at their prime, circa 1987.

On the flip, the veteran thoroughbred Lord Sassafrass gallops across the riddim with the same panache that saw him rule dancehalls across Jamaica in the 1980s. Lyrically, the legendary Sassa offers a compelling case for why the Horseman style he and his crew pioneered stands head and shoulders above the overhyped slackness being peddled by many today.

They have also travelled to the US and played at the famous Dub Mission in San Francisco. They have shared the stage with the likes of Mungo's Hifi, Dread Squad, Benny Page, Suggs from Madness, RSD, Radikal Guru, ShyFX, David Rodigan, Trojan Sound System, Twilight Circus, Conscious Sounds, Disciples, Alpha Steppa, The Bug, OBF, Mr.Williamz, Curtis Lynch, Ranking Joe, Panda Dub, King Shiloh, Alpha & Omega, Kenny Knotts, Charlie P, Jacky Murda, Dubkasm, YT , Solo Banton and Soom T just to name a few. They are also part one of the most exciting Reggae/Dub Soundsystems in the UK: (Reggae Roast ) who play all over England and have multiple residences in London. Vibration Lab works often as a DJ for thelegendary and  internationally known artist MC Brother Culture. Vibration Lab have recorded and remixed Reggae greats like: Linval Thompson, Rod Taylor, Wayne Jarrett. Vibration Lab have been associated with Dubby "Reggae influenced" Bass music but they have recently done two remixes pressed to vinyl:  Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution Feat. Skarra Mucci & Mandinka Warrior ?– Original (Vibration Lab Remix) on Nice-Up Records NPU028 7" and Sound Transmission Records-12"-Empress / Solo Banton Feat. Sabrina Bell + Gallang / Parly B - Vibration Lab Remix) which signal a shift to a more "Digital" Reggae sound. 

For their next project they have assembled a "super group" formed out of the "live" sessions on the Reggae Roast Soundsystem. At these dances the pair would select in a throw-back 80's style,in the fashion of "old-school"sounds like Youth Promotion in Jamaica, with teams of singers and mc's. Along with help of Reggae soundsystem veterans: Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel the pair went into the studio to re-create the energy and excitement of these dances and thus: Vibration Lab & The Digital Messiahs was born. The first single from this project will come out on the Vibration Lab label and is called: (Digital Messiahs Theme) feat:Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel. A full album of the project will be released this year!

Vibration Lab is also working with up and coming MC/Singer Natty Campbell on some new material to come out on the Vibration LabLabel, first release is called: Tell It To Dem on the Utica Riddim, which will be ot soon!
