SCOOPS Records announce a brand new release and a brand new collaboration. Back in the dark days of lockdown Steve Vibronics joined forces with Ashanti Selah (son of Sound System legend Aba Shanti) to cook up some fresh musical flavours aimed at brightening up our lives .... and this release is the first dish served in what will be a series of Vibronics meets Ashanti Selah productions.

The Hustle Riddim is an up-beat and sub-shaking dubwise blast that (as with most SCOOPS Records releases!) is mixed for the Sound System. The flip-side features a full on phaser attacking dub mix .. fresh from the Vibronics Dub Cupboard Studio in Leicester where old-skool analogue dub techniques are still strictly adhered to.

Side A holds a driving digi-steppas riddim featuring the classic voice of Singing Cologne from Jamaica with the reminder that all things is ‘Just For A While’, and comes with two dub excursions. Side B offers a deep combination with Joshua Hales from the US on vocals, speaking out against babylon’s rule and making it very clear that ‘Our Souls’ were never for sale, in this case followed by an ocarina mix featuring Woodub from Brussels, Belgium, on this exceptional instrument and a part two dub mix.

Vibronics come roaring out of their studio with 12 brand new remix collaborations featuring the cream of French dub artists … High Tone, Zenzile, Brain Damage, Weeding Dub, Blackboard Jungle, OBF and Kanka are just some of the artists to be re-worked in this one away international project.

3 x 10" single release on SCOOPS Records for summer. This host of killer new vocals include works by Demolition Man, Ras Tweed, Professor Natty & Echo Ranks as well as instrumental contributions from London's Ital Horns and Tokyo's Killer Sista Makiko.
