U prometnu gradsku sredinu

U savani od lovokradica što ginu

Adaptirala se na urbani život brzo
Al' u duši bi je uvek nešto seklo
Kad god u gradu neko spomene
Njeno afričko poreklo

Zbog svoje prirodne
Višespratne građe
Za lisnatu je klopu znala
Lako da se snađe

Gradsko zelenilo je tuži
Uz argumente čvrste
Da parkovske krošnje
Njena gladna usta brste

Shvatila žirafa
Tek kad je gladna za sto sela
Da joj zbog predugačkog vrata
Usta ne dopiru do jela

Savijala je vrat uporno
Sto puta u jednom satu
Al' nikako tanjir u prizemlju
Da dohvate usta na spratu

Gledala žirafa tužno
Vruću supu što se hladi
Strepeći da će zbog dugovratosti
Svisnuti od gladi

Al' doseti se pametnica
Pa otrča brzo u šupu
Ne bi li pronašla slamčicu
S kojom će posrkati supu
