4004 aka Gerardo Tepetitlan, is a Mexican American DJ and producer living in Tijuana's neighbor beach town of Rosarito, Mexico. 4004 is known for his deep house sound a la MCDE, Moodymann and Theo Parrish. He has many releases on FACES Records and Quintessentials. He's one of the Vicario founders, so we made him a couple of questions so you get to know him better...

Delfonic Loves To Boogie

We are over the moon to bring you our next mix by Delfonic! Markus started his DJ career in 2004 around Berlin before reaching out across Germany and beyond. As a founder of OYE Records, he played a vital role providing Berlin DJs with new music. In 2019 he left OYE after 15 years and started to work as A&R / Label manager for Wordandsound / Whatpeopleplay.

With a history in digging and an unquestionable love for music, Markus Lindner is a DJ as versatile as they come. He applies his broad knowledge of music styles to almost any setting, and is renowned for blending multiple genres, eras and disciplines throughout his sets. An open-minded talent, with an uncompromising approach to DJing, he employs a style schooled from an upbringing in hip-hop but with an open minded music taste including grooves from Jazz, Disco, House, Breaks and Afro.

As a champion of new music and sounds, Delfonic has been setting new trends within today’s modern music scene. He’s the man behind the labels OYE Black Label, OYE Edits and Money $ex Records, and is responsible for bringing some of today’s contemporary talent into the
limelight, including Max Graef, Glenn Astro, Alex Seidel and more. A mainstay at cult Berlin venue ICON from 2006 until its demise in 2011, Delfonic now holds down residencies at Paloma Bar and Club Gretchen while frequenting the capital’s leading venues like Salon zur wilden
Renate, Heideglühen, Toy Tonic Jams etc.
