Vice City is a producer, DJ and party promoter based in Taipei,Taiwan. Rooted in Techno, but influenced by various styles such as Dub, Dn'B, Breaks and Psychedelic Trance , Vice City's experiments explore the edge of sounds, evolving according to time and place, reaching out to connect with the environment.
Rhythmic, smooth, tense, tranquil. Vice City's music shows strong diversities while preserving a cinematic atmosphere and healing vibrations.
Vice City Joined Oslated, the South Korean music label in 2016, and had her original mixes and remixes released including her remix tracks "Fantasma" in Bluescript's EP, "Treated By Herbs And Fire" in Saphileaum's "Uninhibited Kingdom", "Mystical Seal" in The Alchemical Theory's "Egyptian Secretsand" and her original mix "Soul Seeker" in the compilation "Seoul - Part 2. Mokmyeok".

Vice City is a DJ and producer based in Taiwan. She's also the co-founder of Taichu, Sound Farmers and Babylon Calling, 3 of the most exciting music labels in the current Electronic music scene in Taiwan.

Ranging from Ambient, Dub, D'n'B, Techno to Psychedelic, Vice City is always exploring between the boundaries of different style, vibe and texture of sounds.  However, her music is often considered solid, uplifting and hypnotic at the same time which often induce a deep meditative state in the listener.

Vice City 는 대만에서 활동하고 있는 DJ 이자 프로듀서이다. 그녀는 또한 대만 일렉트로닉 뮤직 씬의 가장 흥미로운 레이블인 Taichu, Sound Farmers, Babylon Calling 의 공동 창업자이기도 하다.

Ambient, Dub, D'n'B, Techno 와 Psychidelic 을 넘나드는 Vice City 의 음악은, 항상 다른 스타일과 바이브, 사운드 텍스쳐간의 경계선상을 탐험하며, 그녀의 음악은 또한 종종 단단하고도 고양되는 느낌의 사운드로부터 최면적인 느낌까지 주기도 한다. 이러한 그녀의 사운드는 리스너들로 하여금 깊은 명상에 빠지는 듯한 경험을 전하기도 한다.

Vice City，本名陳詩婷，白天是環境運動工作者，下班時間從事電子音樂／配樂創作、DJ，音樂體現其對於自然與人類關係、萬物運行方式的觀察與提問，探討個體心理感知的空間和時間，如何在聲音所引發的意識流動之間延展、生長。喜歡運用細膩、繁複、需要主動專注聆聽的豐富聲響，同時施展具有強烈身體感和儀式感的節奏曲式。 

Vice City也經營廠牌、舉辦派對和音樂文化相關的交流／研討活動，近期成立了音樂組織「Sssound Without Borders 無國界之聲」，三個S代表Struggle、Support、Solidarity，將音樂本身作為一種社群相互支持、團結、共同創造的文化行動。

個人單曲創作曾發行於Accents、Siamese Twins Records、Diffuse Reality、Melifera、Huinali、Oslated、Companion、Jin Records、MISBHV等廠牌。

Vice City, whose real name is Shi Ting Chen, is an environmental activist by day and music producer and a DJ after hours. Her music expresses her observations and questions regarding the relationship between nature and humanity. It explores how individual psychological perceptions of space and time expand and grow within the flow of sound, interacting with the world. She enjoys using intricate, complex soundscapes that require active, attentive listening, while also employing rhythmic structures with a strong sense of physicality and ritual.

Vice City also runs a music label and organizes parties. Recently, she founded two music collectives "Taiwan Rave & Punk Solidarity Front For Palestine" and "Sssound Without Borders," where the three S’s stand for Struggle, Support, and Solidarity, positioning music as a cultural act of community support, unity, and co-creation.

Her music productions have been released on labels such as Siamese Twins Records, Accents, Diffuse Reality, Melifera, Huinali, Oslated, Companion, Jin Records, and MISBHV.
