Vice is a Manchester-based Metal band, formed from a shared vision to breathe fresh life into the music World and to display our diverse collective tastes and influences through our music.
Our brand of head banging, hair swirling, blistering modern Metal is full of powerful riffs and hooks, time and tempo changes, coupled with an energetic, passionate show and a high standard of performance and musicianship.
Our songs have the feel of powerful anthems with strong Melodies and Hooks!  We are influenced by bands like Machine Head, Meshuggah, Lamb of God and Dream Theater and combine a blistering guitar attack, powerful virtuoso rhythm section and stinging Vocals. 2016 culminated in our debut performance at the Mighty Bloodstock Open Air and we have shared the stage with Artists such as Sepultura, Skindred, Hellyeah, Absolva, One Machine, Tim (Ripper) Owens, Blaze Bayley, and Babylon Fire, receiving fantastic feedback from fans, as well as critical acclaim from the likes of Get Your Rock Out,  Planet Mosh,  Manchester Rocks, The Moshville Times, Metal Temple and Rockfiend Publications. 2018 has seen us play HRH Metal, Hammerfest X and Amplified Festival along with our first European tour in Belgium.
We have built a very strong reputation as an exciting, quality live band and our debut album ‘The First Chapter’ was released in April 2017 to overwhelming acclaim from critics and fans alike.

Chris Needham is an acoustic singer/songwriter, originally from from south Manchester now living in London. He takes influence from the likes of Ray Lamontagne, John Mayer, Paolo Nutini, James Morrison, Jeff Buckley and more. He has extensive gigging experience and never fails to deliver a powerful, exciting performance! He plays primarily at bars, pubs and outdoor events but is more than happy to do private parties as well. He has a varied repertoire of both covers and original material he can choose from to suit a performance

Steel Threads are an original band performing their own unique blend of acoustic rock and folk. 

Formed in 2011 the band comprises of Neil Wardleworth on guitar, bass drum and vocals, and Laura Wilcockson on violin and vocals and Tracy Beardmore on bass, violin and vocals.

Influenced by Led Zeppelin, Crowded House, and Fleetwood Mac, Steel Threads pride themselves on their strong songwriting and energetic performances.

The band’s debut album Timing Is Everything was released in June 2012 and the band has gigged throughout the UK, building a strong following ever since. The strength of support is evidenced by the fact that For Those Who Are Left was pledge funded by fans and reached its target much more quickly than the band expected.

The next album The Rule of Three is influenced by the decision to become a 3 piece band in February 2015, the extra energy that has created, and the fact it is the bands third album.

Steel Threads maintain a very full gig schedule, with dates up and down the UK including many a festival, venue and real ale pub along the way.

My names Tom Atkinson, I'm the lead guitarist and lead vocalist of the Manchester based Heavy Metal band "Vice" 
I've been playing guitar for coming up to eleven years now, i play lots of different styles of music, but people only mainly see the metal side of me.
