I played this set at this years' Camp WhyNot Reunion event in Bonjuk Bay in Sept. 24 and mainly selected producers from Berlin & Hamburg, eg. Kaufmann, Konfusia, Recondite, Sabura & Maurice Mino, Andata or Roman Adam, which I really like.
It's been such a blast to play Techno for my WhyNot Family - despite all the technical errors and challenges like stuck effect buttons ;) 
This vibe on this dancefloor is something special and it's also one of my most favorite dancefloors in the world.

Formé par Trecci en février 2016, Naeba Records est un label numérique qui publie des morceaux dans la veine House & Techno.
Pas lié par des limites de créativité ou d'originalité, mais adhérant aux éléments de base de la vraie musique électronique et au-delà, pas particulièrement agréable pour les oreilles et mais dévastateur sur le dancefloor !.

Ce label français se caractérise par le principe de ne pas sortir des Ep's et Tracks rapidement et sans discernement mais plutôt de mettre l'accent sur des collaborations à long terme avec ses artistes internationaux.

Nouveaux morceaux à venir enregistrés exclusivement pour ce que devrait être la musique électronique haut de gamme.

The 90’s rave scene embodied a sense of freedom, defiance, energy, and diversity. Konvic’s track, ‘Dove Days’ celebrated that with a hard techno edge and spoken vocals by DeepDownDirty label boss and founder Maya Stone.

Fast forward seven years from the release of ‘Dove Days’ (and as DeepDownDirty fast approaches its tenth year of existence) and Konvic has put together a full album’s worth of eclectic new music to complement the original track, bringing it bang up-to-date with hiphop-edged techno in ‘Escape Key’ featuring Melee; a drum and bass duo of tracks in ‘We Need Love' & ‘Aura’, which both feature TiaSun; and 'Gaia’, with its hard neuro-influenced riff.

Amongst the techno you can also find the bouncy ‘Moroccon Nights’, with its North African-influenced vibe; an acid techno collaboration with Alf E James, ‘Rhythm is in my Mind’; the pulsating groove of ‘Dance’, the third track to feature TiaSun; the vibrant chords of ‘Keep Walking By’; the underground feel of ‘Exit Light'; and the subversive ‘Don’t Be Afraid’, a collaboration with Coqui.

This is music that celebrates the liberating, hedonistic 90’s rave scene with a futuristic edge. Its euphoric, rebellious and wild. It embodies great dance music in its all its glorious variety across the eleven tracks. As Maya says on ‘Dove Days’, “It didn’t matter who you were or what you did, we were united by the music,”.

'Dove Days’ the LP stands as a reminder and testament of how true that still is.

- Seeds and Dreams sprouting in Darkness 🖤 - 

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
