Premiere: La versión única de Swarm Intelligence del techno industrial está de regreso, con la segunda entrega de su sello homónimo, disponible en noviembre.

Ferozmente intensa, dramática y vanguardista, la visión distintiva del techno de Swarm Intelligence le ha ganado un gran número de seguidores entre el verdadero underground de la escena. Siguiendo desde el lanzamiento de su sello, SWRM002, que cuenta con un gran apoyo, es un siguiente paso sorprendente: un testimonio de la tranquila confianza de un artista experto que no teme evitar las normas y forjar su propio camino. Este segundo EP continúa inspirándose en temas distópicos de tecnologías nuevas e imaginadas y su impacto social resultante.
'Critical Signal' se produjo durante la pandemia global y se perfeccionó de forma iterativa durante los años siguientes. Bajos chirriantes y atmósferas tensas se asientan sobre un atronador cuatro al suelo. Su mensaje a la humanidad es tan relevante ahora como lo era entonces: “eres resistente y prevalecerás”. 
En 'Disinformation Era', un paisaje sonoro visceral, sombrío e inquietante puntuado por un ritmo contundente es una metáfora adecuada de la guerra psicológica que se está desatando en el mundo de hoy.

Al abrir la cara B, la edificante gloria de 'Digital Immortality' eleva el tono del lanzamiento. Aquí, los ritmos rotos y con fallas característicos de Swarm complementan hermosas ondas melódicas y una línea de bajo ondulante. La pista imagina una vida futura digital donde, al cargar nuestra conciencia, dejamos atrás nuestros cuerpos. Para cerrar el EP, “Singularity Dawns” es la más libre de las composiciones cinematográficas. Sus ritmos oscuros entrecortados y su secuencia transversal cuentan la historia de una IA que se vuelve consciente de sí misma y descubre su capacidad de sentir.

Premiere: Swarm Intelligence’s unique take on industrial techno is back, with the second instalment on his self-titled label, coming this November.

Fiercely intense, dramatic and cutting-edge, Swarm Intelligence’s distinctive take on techno has garnered him a solid following amongst the true underground of the scene. Following on from the
widely supported launch of his label, SWRM002 is a striking next step – a testament to the quiet confidence of a skilled artist unafraid to eschew norms and carve his own path. This second EP
continues to draw inspiration from dystopian themes of new and imagined technologies and their resulting societal impact.
‘Critical Signal’ was produced during the global pandemic, and iteratively refined over the following years. Grinding basses and tense atmospherics sit atop a thunderous four-to-the-floor. Its message to humanity is as relevant now as it was then – “you are resilient, you will prevail”. In ‘Disinformation’ a visceral, bleak and unsettling sonic landscape punctuated by a slamming groove is an apt metaphor for the psychological warfare being unleashed on the world today.

Opening the B-side, the uplifting glory of ‘Digital Immortality’ lifts the tone of the release. Here, Swarm’s signature glitchy, broken beats complement beautiful melodic swells and a rolling bass line. The track imagines a digital afterlife where, upon uploading our consciousness, we leave our bodies behind. Bringing the EP to a close, “Singularity Dawns” is the most freeform, cinematic composition. Its obscure broken rhythms and traversing sequence tells the tale of an AI becoming self-aware and discovering its capacity to feel.

This collaboration seeks to make a positive impact through the universal language of music, amplifying the voices of those facing restrictions in Iran. Given the challenges and restrictions on direct financial support in Iran, this partnership aims to provide much-needed aid via FEMENA.

Premiere: Termination_800 presenta su último lanzamiento en X-IMG con un enfoque en el techno moderno EBM junto con una atmósfera distópica, cibernética y desesperada. Se inspira en diferentes medios de ciencia ficción y videojuegos, en particular por las voces altamente tratadas que se encuentran en las cuatro pistas originales. Se ha utilizado síntesis FM y Wavetable para casi todas las líneas de sintetizador, con un efecto de fase robótico en las líneas de bajo como su sonido característico. Todas las pistas han sido realizadas únicamente con VST y samples, sin ningún equipo analógico para obtener un resultado sintético. La cara B del lanzamiento presenta 4 remezclas altamente efectivas de The Undertaker’s Tapes, Evil Dust, Iron Court y Max Durante.

Premiere: Termination_800 presents his newest release on X-IMG with a focus on modern techno EBM coupled with a dystopic, cybernetic and a hopeless atmosphere throughout. He takes inspiration from different sci-fi media and video games, in particular for the highly treated vocals found throughout the four original tracks. FM and Wavetable synthesis has been used for mostly all the synth lines, with a robotic phaser effect on bass lines as his signature sound. All tracks have been made only with VST and samples, without any analog gear to obtain a synthetic result. The release’s B-side features 4 highly effective remixes from The Undertaker’s Tapes, Evil Dust, Iron Court & Max Durante.

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
