It’s both terrifying and overwhelmingly exciting to remix one of your idols and for me, it doesn’t come much bigger than Tony De Vit. Then to receive messages of support from his sister, Jayne really was the most beautiful part of the process, it was very emotional! 

It’s hard to put into words the significance of Tony as artist, he broke down barriers through music, united the queer and straight clubbing scenes, which was previously unheard of in the UK. He has had a huge impact on me as a producer, DJ and queer person in dance music, someone I’ve looked up to for many years as have countless other artists. Despite not being with us for 25 years and only releasing music for a few years, Tony De Vit remains a true icon of a generation, one whose legacy lives on through his music, and to be a small part of that story is something that feels incredibly special.
