This song is my raw reaction to watching the government and the Supreme Court quietly dismantle the Department of Education right in front of us. I wrote it out of anger and heartbreak as I watched thousands of workers get laid off, civil‑rights offices gutted, and essential programs for kids, students, and families stripped away—all without explanation, just a single shadow‑docket ruling that lets Trump tear it all down. It’s about the frustration of seeing our institutions hollowed out in silence, the fear of what happens when the safeguards we rely on are shredded, and the determination to rise up and refuse to be dismantled along with them. It’s my way of screaming that we see what’s happening, we won’t stay silent, and we will fight to take our country back.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to listen.  
My name is Johnny, a lifelong musician and songwriter whose work is deeply rooted in the pursuit of justice, equality, and meaningful change. For as long as I can remember, music has been my voice, my weapon, and my sanctuary—a way to channel the frustrations, hopes, and dreams of a world in turmoil.  

My songs are a reflection of the turbulent times in which we live. They are anthems for the marginalized, the oppressed, and the forgotten—those who bear the weight of systemic inequality, poverty, and injustice. Through my music, I aim to amplify the voices of minorities, the poor, the sick, and the downtrodden, shining a light on the struggles they endure in a society that often turns a blind eye.  

At the heart of my work is a call to resist the oppressive grip of the billionaire class, whose unchecked power and greed have eroded the foundations of our democracy. My lyrics are a rallying cry, urging listeners to awaken to the realities of our world, to challenge the status quo, and to fight for a future where equity and justice are not just ideals, but realities.  

But my music is not just a critique of what is wrong—it is also a beacon of hope. I strive to inspire others to join the fight, to look in the mirror and confront the uncomfortable truths of our nation’s bloody history. Only by acknowledging the past can we begin to heal and move forward. My songs are a tribute to the dreamers and the activists who came before us, and a call to carry their torch into the future.  

Above all, I seek to honor the vision of John Lennon and countless others who dared to imagine a world of peace, love, and unity. Through my music, I hope to contribute to that vision.

Am back to making regular music now but sorry no Christmas songs this year. This time of year is very hard for me as it is when my father became very ill and died in the new year 2010. I still miss him very much but hope he would be proud of my musical journey, he is my number one inspiration.
Just a quick personal note on AI and music. I think it is not a good thing for the creative side of music and a lot of it comes without feelings or soul. Creativity is a gift, and should be greatly valued, cherished and nurtured. Music is what makes us human and can never be replaced by a computer.
Finished remastering up to and including 2023 now. Has been a mammoth task but well worth the effort. Next year I shall be working on a remastered series of my pre KORG days 2000 to 2008, in 8 volumes, as well as celebrating in style my 10 years of KRONOS magic, can't wait for 2025.
Have now amassed over 1000 tracks on SC (that's over 8000 minutes of music) and it has been a blast sharing them with you all. Next year 2025, marks the 10th anniversary of the start of my KORG journey.
Am currently putting together a remastered Anthology collection of all my best tracks from 2015 onwards. 2015 consists of a 3 volume set (Now available on Bandcamp). 2016 consists of a 4 volume set. I have been lucky to have music in my life, and now the time to explore how it can affect other people. I have discovered many new talented artists on SC and am happy to encourage and support their work; from small beginnings come great things. Am spending a lot more time on my music now since retiring from work in July 2020. Always learning new techniques and honing my craft. Songwriting has been a lifelong passion for me, dating back to elementary school when I first began crafting stories, poems, and eventually lyrics. As a former drummer in various bands, I always relied on others to bring my words to life musically. However, after a long hiatus from drumming, I decided to take the leap and learn to compose music to accompany my lyrics. Through classes and dedication, I've embarked on a new journey, breathing fresh life into old lyrics and penning new ones. You'll find a mix of older and newer works here. Especially for some of the lyrics. 

Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is being completely entranced by 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a very young child. There was something about the rhythm and the melody that just captivated me. I must have played it a thousand times, wearing the record out, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be a drummer and to create that magic for others. 

But I was too young then, and of course, I couldn't afford a drum set just yet. So, I turned to writing as a way to express myself. As I mentioned above, I started with stories, then poems, and eventually, lyrics. I found that writing was not only a way to tap into my creativity, but also a way to process my emotions and experiences. 

As I grew older, my love for music only deepened. I realized that music has this incredible power to transport us to different times and places, to evoke emotions and memories that we thought were long forgotten. It's a universal language that can bring people together like nothing else can. 

For me, writing lyrics is a cathartic experience. It's a way for me to tap into my emotions, to process the world around me, and to create something that I hope will resonate with others. And when I hear my words come to life in a song, it's truly magical. It's a feeling that never gets old, and it's what keeps me coming back to music time and time again. 

I love many genres of music and artists of many genres. And if you listen to some of my songs, you will find that I like to make songs of different genres as well as mix different genres into each song. One of my all-time favorite bands is Evanescence, and I have made a lot of songs where I have tried my best to emulate that sound. 

Now, I have recently started experimenting with new sounds. I never heard of glitch beats before I took music classes, and now I'm fascinated with the sound, so I have been experimenting with glitch beats recently.
