Aaron King is a composer, conductor and performer based near London. He is currently studying an MA in Composing for Film and Television at the National Film and Television School, having graduated in 2017 from Hertford College, University of Oxford, with a 1st Class  degree in Music. 

Aaron was the winner of the 2019 Sir David Willcocks carol competition and in 2017 he won the Oxford University Music Society Composition Competition. He enjoys writing works in a variety of genres but his main focus is on music for film.

Nick Graham is an enthusiastic, young musician studying at the University of Oxford. He has a long background in choral music of all types and is also an energetic orchestral conductor. He is available for hire in a variety of capacities and would be pleased to hear from anyone interested. As well as being a conductor, Nick is a keen tenor singer, an exciting organist and pianist, and a competent composer and arranger.

Hertford College Chapel is in the heart of Oxford: next to the Bridge of Sighs and opposite the Bodleian Library. Built in 1908 by Thomas Graham Jackson, its mix of carved oak and stone makes for a wonderful acoustic. Hertford College Chapel Choir sings at services in the chapel and tours internationally twice a year.

Members of the public are welcome to most services, and may visit whenever Hertford College advertises that we are open for visitors.

You will often find a lot of music in the Chapel: services, lunchtime recitals, concerts, or just people practising with the beautiful pipe organ, the piano or other musical instrument.

The main services of the week are
• Sunday Evensong (5.45 pm) with full choir. Most Sundays have guest preachers drawn from a diverse range of backgrounds of faith and life experience. Evensong is followed by drinks and formal hall
• Wednesday evening Eucharist (6 pm) with a smaller choir, followed by free supper
• Tuesday night Compline (10 pm) with unaccompanied plainsong by candlelight
