Étude écrite en 1988, d'abord pour un solo de clarinette, (ce qu'elle peut toujours être) en hommage à mon dernier professeur de clarinette, Roland Simoncini. Elle est devenue un duo en rencontrant Jean-Pierre Lacroix, contrebassiste (Solaris Trio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWLNw7Cq9bY)

Study written in 1988, first for a clarinet solo (what it can always be) in tribute to my last clarinet teacher, Roland Simoncini. It became a duo by meeting Jean-Pierre Lacroix, double bass player (Solaris Trio www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWLNw7Cq9bY)
