We’re back with the music video about a game studio that brought us a variety of classics, but never released any game with number 3 in its name — VALVE. The company behind Half-Life, Portal, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead, DOTA 2 and much more. 

ELLEN MCLAIN, the original voice of GLaDOS from “Portal” and “Portal 2”, agreed to sing the part of everyone's favourite mad robot. 

THE STUPENDIUM, the amazing nerdcore artist who you know and love, performed the Gabe Newell’s part! 

And finally, we got Valve’s CEO, GABE NEWELL himself, to record a couple of lines for the beginning and the end of the song!

Friday Night Funkin' Remix - Zavodila [Mid-Fight Masses Mod]

Better late than rushed, right...?

This song has such a great melody, who knew flipping Zelda's theme backwards would make something so good? It had it's challenges, mainly that it's in 3/4 and that makes it harder to slap but I think I managed! I chose instrumentation designed to be a balanced mix of symphonic and electronic to keep the original epic feel. I played around with tempos a lot this time around too which made for some dramatic effects. This game was great on the Wii, and this theme really stuck in my head since then. Seriously tho, I think this is one of my favorite remixes! Chat picked this one on stream, and it was paired with the complextro genre. At first I was like wtf this is gonna be difficult, but WOW. I think I kept true to the genre, and the original song itself! Sometimes you just gotta pair the acoustic with the electronic and make a beautiful baby. We ended up with a jazzy, funky, dance-y, bumpin, cocoNUT Mall.

HAPPY BELATED 30TH TO MY WONDERFUL WIFE DEEDS

This is her favorite childhood game, so I had to give one of the best vgm songs of all time the Vectorization! I tried really hard with lots of automation on this one to give it a certain vibe. My vision was to make you feel like you were being plunged into water! I chose very specific "liquidy" sounding synths and muffled bass with a lot of movement to give it that underwater feel. I'm also quite proud of the more bassy drop on this one, played with space a lot there. Please enjoy my take on Dire Dire Docks! More VGM goodness to come, stay tuned~
