Tchelo is a musician with a vast array of music compositions, remixes and sountracks.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Marcelo Vieira (a.k.a. Tchelo or Cello) started his music carrer in 2003, singing and composing for the Rio band "A Orquestra do Absurdo". Tchelo also had some of his songs featuring in soundtracks of award-winning independent movies, TV and dance shows. Marcelo also worked in an Electronic Music collective called Upload Project (2006-2009), in partnership with DJ Muralha.  
Currently, Marcelo resides in Vancouver, Canada and works in his solo career with a soulful set of original material incorporating diverse influences ranging from Rock, Reggae, Blues and Brazilian Folk rhythms.
