Kicking off the year with a new compilation, Art Bei Ton presents their 5th VA, featuring 9 international artists. This 8-track journey highlights a diverse range of Deep Techno influences, from dark atmospheric sounds to trippy, dancefloor-oriented tunes.

Opening the VA, the talented Polish DJ and producer Aksamit invites listeners to explore a dark universe through her Ambient/Experimental track. The two Portuguese artists, Floating Machine and Inerte, collaborate on this ritualistic Half Tempo track, infusing it with psychedelic sonorities.

Master of powerful Hypnotic Techno, Georgian artist Petit Astronaute weaves new incantations into his track. Paris-based DJ and producer Nao Nhil takes us on an abyssal journey to the trippier, trancier side of the genre.

Through her track "Loose Control," Nnamael delivers the perfect Mental Techno cut for the dancefloor. Mesmerizing audiences for years, Italian DJ and producer Viels offers us another driving masterpiece.

Known for his dark and bouncy productions, PEIX casts a mystical spell on the listener with his track "Lævateinn." Wrapping up the release, the talented Indian duo Audio Units embrace some polyrhythmic Deep and Trippy sounds through their immersive sound design.

All with their own mystique and essence, and at the same time united by a common concept, that of mental and hypnotic techno. Moving from the most introspective drones to chords that remind us of Detroit techno, and returning to sounds that seem to be modular synthesis, The Space in Between is a colorful album in which a wide variety of soundscapes can be found. All tracks are composed with a very special dedication to sound design, texture and ambience, and that is what makes this album a piece to listen to carefully.

After his "Distrophism" and "Sinua" EP's. Viels became a close member of the Dynamic Reflection family. This multitalent showed that he's here to stay and will bring us a lot more in the future. Meanwhile other respected labels as Semantica & Non Series confirmed this by releasing his music as well. With his intelligent trippy driving techno sound he delivers yet another 5 track EP called "Pure Coincidence EP" including a hypnotising Neel remix.

All in all another banger from this Milanese wonderboy.

Bio:
Class 1990, Viels was born in a little city outside Milan (Italy). Early in his adolescence he discovered techno culture inspired by a book called “TECHNO“ by Christian Zingales. Having released his first Ep on Initial Berlin in 2015, Viels continued his musical path becoming a resident of the well respected dutch imprint Dynamic Reflection paving the way for labels such as Warm Up, Mord, Semantica, Non Series and more.
Co-owner with Francesco della Sala of “End Of Perception”, Viels is also one of the residents of the party Acquario in Milan.
With an increasing interest and having performed in quality clubs like Tresor, Perron, Cassette, Schron and shared the booth with the likes of Oscar Mulero, Svreca and Dasha Rush to name a few, Viels is establishing himself as part of a new wave of djs and producers approaching the contemporary techno scene.
