Last but not least, Smokin Rock bares its soul for the world to see. Dannewitz belts out his story of hardship with unflinching honesty as Hank Rusch machine guns the universe with his Stratocaster. This song was written in 2018. It was a sort of autobiographical song  pertaining to singer Bob Dannewitz during a rough patch in his life.  At the that time lockdowns, riots, crime, war were non existent. We thought the song was not relatable so we shelved it.  What a difference a couple of years make!! Now all the mad prophet rantings are par for the course in this year 2024.  This the last of Smokin Rock's releases in the album Desiree, we present it for your listening.

Well this is a bit of a curve ball , I had been listening to Axel Menningen and was so impressed I asked him to help on a song I was doing , he in his wisdom suggested it being a duet , so I got in touch with my lifelong friend Kim , and the 3 of us put this together , it's a bit different from my usual stuff , but we think you'll like it ! On the 8th is a belter from me and Gaz , and on the 13th is another with Axel , this time with Charlotte . Can you take your own advice?  In an embarrassed junk yard I heard someone saying..."Maybe we’ll find that sometimes you’ll know things I don’t know and maybe even giggle, and sometimes I’ll know things that you don’t know, and have to smile cause I can’t help it, and you won’t know why.  And the things that each one of us know are the same things, just at different times".

Vacation People

Big revamp of a song I wrote a few years ago , moral of the song is do not pray for rain ! Me , Axel and Andrea have a cracker out on the 4th of October , then me and Dave Cooper on the 11th , just finished a belter with Charlotte , loads in the pipeline again . Now , a little tale for anyone having trouble with Soundclouds 2fa ( two factor authentication ) if you are trying to monetize your songs . I spent almost a week tearing my hair out , I couldn't sign in , but I think I've found the answer . If your codes keep getting refused , switch your automatic time/date on your mobile off , then on again , it'll sync everything , a reset was all it took to get my codes accepted , such a simple thing that took me 6 days to work out for myself as the Help Centre didn't once respond to my problem ! And make sure you copy the back up codes in case it all goes wrong again . I hope this helps anyone who is having the same issue as I had , solved it by chance , no help was available !
