From the biggest to the smallest creature there is a desire to love. It’s interesting to think that each living thing out there is looking for love at its core. This must be why we resonate with pets and with nature because it puts us in touch with things that are just as alive as we are. We can feel a good energy from our dogs and cats and we can talk a walk through the woods and feel that desire for love emanating from the plants and the wild drunk  animals making their home in the brush. It’s all very exhilarating to think about, and is a feeling we can capture every day.

A music fanatic from an early age, DJ Nika fell in love with house music in 2006 after moving to NYC. Originally from a hip-hop background, Nika became part of the city’s house scene and was soon working in production and promotion in various New York City nightclubs, including North America’s premier entertainment venue Webster Hall. Being surrounded by countless famous musicians and singers from whom he drew inspiration and knowledge, making the transition to DJ was inevitable. 

A couple of years later, Nika was spinning at the hottest clubs in NYC and fast becoming a brand name in New York’s world-renowned party culture. His self-taught character and unmatched dedication quickly gained respect among other DJs and he kicked off his DJ debut in the legendary Webster Hall. He went on to share the turntables with many of the best international DJs in top NYC hot spots such as Pacha, Marquee, Le Souk, and many more; as well as proudly participating in the NYC Dance Parade in the heart of Manhattan. 

In 2018, Nika performed two huge, successful shows in Hangzhou, China and released tracks that rose into the Top 100 on Beatport, a feat he repeated in 2019. He signed with a number of big record labels and was supported by top DJs around the world. His most popular tracks are “First Step” “Awakening” and latest track “Dreamer” - Original Mix.

2019 is a production year for Nika and he has been working long hours in his studio to develop compelling original sounds for EDM fans everywhere who are hungry for fresh, new music. Late 2020 / 2021 will be Nika’s most vital year yet and will feature more new tracks, more shows, and other surprises. 

All crowds who have seen DJ Nika in action were left demanding more. A major part of his success is the fact that he lives and breathes house music, just like his fans, and has been using his love for the game to create his own distinctive style and versatile mixes. “It’s something different, with more energy and love,” he says, continuing, “Electronic music makes me feel free.” His genre specialties include Progressive, Electro and Techno Tech House and he has the power to connect with any audience anywhere, taking them higher and higher.
