About a year ago, I heard One Day (Vandaag) by Bakermat and immediately fell in love with this new era of sax/tropical house music. So, for our very first original track, I thought it would only be fitting to share with you an awesome tune that takes me back to the early days of the tropical movement. Newcomers Gaarden & Coots have really outdone themselves on this one. Filled with beautiful and original sax riffs, soothing vocals, and a catchy melody, Who You Really Are will without a doubt make you take a second listen. On hearing Troye’s track, ‘Wild’ for the first time, I instantly fell in love with the vocals and I immediately saw the potential for this remix. I really wanted to capture the power and emotion of his voice whilst adding a more melodically driven, upbeat emphasis to the song. I think this song takes my sound in a slightly new direction with more prominence on catchy piano riffs and deep house influences while still retaining the characteristics of the ‘Hibell’ sound.

As followers of Kaskade for many years, we have seen his sound progress from deep house to big room festival dance music.  10 years ago he released It's You, It's Me and we thought that it would be cool to remix it.
