'Noise' was introduced by Spinnin' Records as an ID. No artist name was communicated and it was sent out as an exclusive promo to a hand full of A-list DJs. What followed can only be described as total mayhem! The ID was played by Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Sander van Doorn and Hardwell, and has been a crowd pleasing asset in their sets ever since. 

After the teaser was uploaded to Spinnin' TV heavy discussion followed on who the artist could possibly be. The answer finally came when the track was premiered - and the artist name revealed - on BBC Radio 1 by none other than Pete Tong.

Qulinez rise to stardom has been a never ending winning streak. Now they present 'Noise' on Spinnin' Records. A melodic electro roller-coaster with big room written all over it! Bring the 'Noise'!

The Major Lazer vs Paff remix of ‘Stampede’ highlights the onslaught of the official remix package for the track which cemented Dimitri and Mike an incredible SIXTH Beatport #1 this year – preceded by ‘Ocarina’ (officially Belgium’s #1 single as we go to press), ‘Project T’, ‘Chattahoochee’, ‘Turn It Up’ and ‘Mammoth’.

All six tracks and more are sure to be musical highlights of the ‘Bringing Home The Madness’ arena shows now just days away in Belgium’s biggest stadium, Antwerp’s Sportspaleis. With production fittingly done by the creative team behind Tomorrowland and TomorrowWorld, and with the first wave of special guests now confirmed as W&W on December 20th and Nicky Romero on December 21st, the hype is reaching fever pitch. The Enabler & The Enabled - This was one of the first ideas for the album, I wrote this one with no intention of having it on an album, it was just something I started for fun, and it started out as the original drop, which was based around those bright chords. Then it sat as that idea for months on my hard-drive until I got the idea to chop up a bunch of random vocal acapellas and add the jazzy chords over them for the initial breakdown and write the second half of the track. It was at that point that I thought I was onto some sort of cool sounding idea and proceeded with the idea of the album!

URL - This was originally a remix of Fractal - Duality, but Monstercat wouldn't allow us to purchase a license from them to put this track on the album, so, I talked to Brady (Fractal) and he said that the only sample he could hear from the original was a Vengeance sample anyway, so we just re-branded it as an original track, seems it strays from the original pretty far anyway, and moved on with the release. 

The idea I had for this tune was kind of a squee'ish idea, or something along the lines of Phonat meets Eero Johannes or Boss Kite but slightly more IDM & vocal based, I'm really happy with the vibe I ended up pulling from it and I feel like I'll definitely be exploring this style in particular more in the future.

Satellite Slum - The Noisy Freaks sent me an e-mail one day asking me to collaborate with them, and at first I was hesitant because, I was trying to finish this album, so I told them, "Maybe in the future, unless you're willing to put whatever we spawn onto the album, though it has to fit a vibe", because, by this stage the album was shaping up to have a pretty strong recurring feeling to it.

Originally they sent me a glitch-hop piece which sounded a lot like Royal Blood or Pyramyth or something (from memory), so I kinda pulled it apart and re-worked it into a slightly techier, glitch-hoppier feel, then sent it back and they did their thing, and then they sent it back and I did my thing again, and so-on until we finished what you're now hearing titled 'Satellite Slum' :)
