While the presentation and packaging of classical music has changed, people’s love for the music itself is timeless and unchanging. 

Since 2000, hänssler CLASSIC has worked in cooperation with the Südwestrundfunk (SWR), one of Germany’s largest broadcasting networks. This collaboration has both provided a showcase for the ensembles of the SWR as well as historic and archival recordings from the vaults of the SWR. Appearing under the logo of SWR music, you will find hundreds of critically acclaimed recordings for your listening enjoyment.
