You could start by being enthusiastic as a little young musician and using a cassette recorder to record your favourite music on the radio, or knowing your big sister's record collection inside out, I was influenced by electronic music early on, my favourites were Kraftwerk or Jean-Michel Jarre and others. 
Later the New German Wave with its numerous facets.
At some point I was very taken with Depeche Mode, some time later the breakdance fashion wave gripped me, whereby I never danced to this style myself.

The red thread of my musical interest went on and on through my life, my record and CD collection became bigger and bigger.
The 90's came, and so did the techno and trance time I enjoyed to the fullest.
There was also a time when music wasn't so important anymore, but just other things, you grew older..... 
After a long music and party break, I visited some hip clubs in my area, and wondered about this strange beat in the music I heard there,
and asked the DJ, say, what kind of music genre is this? He looked at me in amazement and said ''House ,,'. 
Okay, I said to myself, House you remember somehow differently.

The longer I listened to that beat, the more I liked it.

I wandered through many clubs in my region and talked to numerous DJ's, and discovered my passion for making music and mixing. 
The first equipment was purchased and music was made for me at home, then for friends.
It crystallized out that what I did there went down well with my friends.

Over time I got to know some nice DJ's on my club tours,
and suddenly I stood behind the players / turntable, and could finally show it to the audience what you have learned.
That was one of the most beautiful moments in my life, and from then on I was almost addicted to inspiring people musically.
My experiences and mine can grow and grow,
until suddenly I got the offer to make music as a resident in a well-known club in Krefeld, the legendary Königsburg.
To this day nothing has changed in my small search, I just can't let it go, and have such a joy when my audience enjoys my music selection.

Also when it comes to music production I slowly but surely try to gain a foothold.

I have just released my first album ``Stockholm Syndrom``.

Project89 is the alias of Amsterdam based DJ and producer Jeroen Broxterman. After his debut on PIV in 2017 he followed up with Ben Rau’s META, Santé’s AVOTRE and Audio Rehab. With tracks hitting charts and support from artists who inspired him, Project89 is flourishing. 

Project89’s attention was grabbed by UK Garage at fifteen and he soon started to try and make his own tunes. But it was not until he heard artists such as Maja Jane Coles, Dennis Ferrer and the Martinez Brothers that he found his true musical identity. The motivated young artist spent many hours learning from tutorials and within a year was collaborating with legend Todd Terry. Project89 went from playing Claire Amsterdam to festivals such as Free your Mind and internationally the Ministry of Sound London. Jeroen has learnt how to take a crowd on a journey with his stripped back hypnotic deep tech sound. 

With Chris Stussy, Prunk, Ben Rau, Archie Hamilton, Sidney Charles, Santé and many more playing his music, the future is looking bright for Project89.

If you’ve been visiting parties, digging for music, or attending festivals in the past year, you’ve probably come across M-HIGH. 

This up-and-coming DJ and producer from the Netherlands is just 27 years of age and is on his way to quickly become a significant figure in electronic music.

Inspired by house music pioneers like Kerri Chandler, Apollonia and DJ Tennis, as well as modern-day heroes like Brawther, Chris Stussy, and D Tiffany, M-High brings a fresh take on deep grooves, acid, house, and minimal. 

His tracks, released on major labels like PIV, Salty Nuts, Locus, and Rutilance, have earned praise from fans and tastemakers worldwide, proving his ability to create standout house music. His track record as a remixer is growing as well, as he delivered and received remixes for/ from artists like Dan Ghenacia, Jovonn, Michel de Hey and DJ Steaw in the last years. 

M-HIGH’s DJ sets blend house, deep house, minimal, electro, always keeping the dancefloor alive and attentive. Despite his young age, he is tirelessly touring all over the world, from Ibiza to Miami, London to Bali, Rome to Montevideo. No matter where he is, M-HIGH knows how to work any dancefloor. 

From legendary clubs like DC10 and Fabric to renowned festivals like Loveland and BPM, he handles the small stages and huge festivals like a real veteran. His skill as a DJ got acknowledged by a wide range of artists which resulted in recent b2b’s with names like Brawther, Prunk, Janeret, Kolter and Josh Baker. 

With a growing fan base and support from industry heavyweights, M-HIGH is on the path to international success. Recently the wunderkid graduated from the Dutch Conservatory - the highest musical education in the Netherlands - combine this background with his passion for music and dedication to his craft and you know that he will be constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries of house music. 

After releasing music on Djebali, You & me and Dungeon Meat in the first part of 2024. The summer of 2024 is looking exciting, look out for his upcoming summer hit "Devil" on Disorder and a very special release on Jamie Jones's label, Hot Creations.
