Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms. Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe as a DJ and live performer - performing at i ntimate underground clubs in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours in Tokyo, beaches in Goa and mega clubs in Argentina. His studio prowess and coveted productions cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he developed a formidable discography on esteemed labels such as Bedrock, Poker Flat, Ovum, Constant Sound, Darkroom Dubs and Balance, among others. Now, entering a new phase of his career, Stelios prepares to unveil his sophomore album, a collection of works that marks a departure from the narrow confines of clubmusic and represents the essence of what he’s all about – an album that mergesthe limitless possibilities of electronic music, his formidable training in composition and his diverse influences. Ten years on from the release of his debut LP, his detail oriented offerings remain incomprehensibly thought-provoking and thorough. Both emotive and technically astute, the creative intuition packed into All Else Fails is almost difficult to fathom - a balanced compilation of grand compositions, paired with subtle, nuanced pieces that is set to engage and entice audiences across an altogether broader spectrum. Stelios’ intense passion and drive for innovation in music serves as the fuel to keep him inspired and relevant, qualities that no doubt ensure his reputation as an artist of the highest calibre, will endure.

Welcome to the 22nd episode of my Confined Spaces Radio Show. My guest for the last hour of this episode is the young producer Gavin Rochford. Melodic House lover from the West of Ireland, Gavin Rochford has gone from strength to strength. Winning Henry Saiz' Natura Sonoris label competition and releasing the track "All In Flavour" in 2020 was a milestone that continued momentum which had already started to build in the young artist's career. From his residency with Melodic Dublin which has seen him share line-ups with the likes of Sebastien Leger, Guy J and Nick Warren, to releasing on labels like Hoj & Lee Burridge's imprint Tale & Tone. German selector Butch is in the midst of a whirlwind US tour that kicked off this week in Detroit, the home of techno. Six dates later on June 20, he'll cap it all off in Chicago, the birthplace of house. It's a fitting juxtaposition for an artist who has made his name in the margins.

In celebration of Butch's stateside jaunt, he's put together a debut selection for THUMP. Just over an hour long, the mix has all the atmospheric drive of techno with the melodic interplay of house, and enough groove and complex emotivity to bring them both together fluidly.

Bosnian born, Dublin based DJ/producer and radio host Viktor Marina has been involved in electronic music since 2001, and a DJ since 2004. From being a music journalist through newspapers and radio, DJing to running various club nights as a promoter. As a founder and resident at Deep House Dublin has run several residencies in some of the major clubs in Dublin promoting and supporting the likes of Sandrino, Denis Horvat, Toto Chiavetta, Petar Dundov and more. In June 2020 he released his debut EP Utopia on Portuguese imprint Musica Gourmet and the new EP Destination House has landed in 2021 on Brazilian label Plano B. 
At the moment, his main focus is his CONFINED SPACES RADIO SHOW on the legendary Bloop London Radio!
From House to Techno... Deep, Dark, Melodic and everything in between….
