PVC-resident V:SONNTAG is an excellent match for our Connwax Selected series: Almost every day she spends time on researching newer and older music, her biggest joy being just listening and diving into moods. She’s particularly fascinated by the versatility of atmospheres and emotions techno can express. On one hand, she loves „fast, playful, sexy and groovy techno, that might at times contain acid or psy elements“, making the audience sweat and have a blast. On the other hand she likes techno on the darker side, which she can lose herself in. While preparing for this podcast V:SONNTAG envisioned a particular setting, that she’s been missing dearly during the past 1 1/2 years: „During my preparations I had Trakt 1 at Institut für Zukunft in mind and felt like recreating its vibe by playing a hypnotic, forceful mix on the faster range of techno“. Hey world! 

In a few days it will be my 28th birthday (yes she's still a child). Navigating through the 27 club has been interesting to say the least, and to celebrate the coming of age I would like to share a gift with you.

Here is a 1hr excerpt towards the opening of my 4hr set at @gegenberlin which took place in the Summe room at @rso_berlin this past June 2023. RSO as a club over the past 2 years has already made its major impact on the Berlin nightlife scene so to get a chance to make my debut there with Gegen is an absolute honor, especially on that banging sound system 💦🔥

This except is house, minimal, techno, a bit trippy, a bit dark, a bit light - all recorded on both vinyl and digital records. Its everything I love about house and techno condensed into an hour long snapshot, which I frankly think does not get played out enough at gay/queer parties.

Lastly I'd like to thank @marius-dj and @boxikus for the invite and warm hospitality. It's always a joy to contribute sound, energy, and vibes to your amazing party 😘❤️🥰
