This month's episode of Bøne Appetit! features Antariksh Records' head honcho 'Antariksh Daddy' with an hour of soul awakening ambient trance. He started his career as a DJ in Germany in 2015 and held a promisingportfolio there for two years. During 2017, he held a year-long residency as a DJ at Scandale Locale Le Fatale, Germany and has since performed in clubs, both in Germany and India.
 
In 2018, he represented the Voidance Records (Berlin) roster briefly as a vinyl + digital DJ. After coming back to India in 2018, he launched his own record label Antariksh Records which is an attempt at the propagation and curation of quality dance music in the South Asian subcontinent.

At the outer reaches of Noosa National Park in Australia, there’s an abstract and unlikely pulse emanating under the guise of Noosa Sound System! ‘Just For the record, I’m not operating a sound system, in the Jamaican sense’ says Chris, the representative DJ / Producer behind the project. ‘Well not at the moment anyway’! For now, Noosa Sound System marks the return to production and selector duties for Chris after a 15 year hiatus, broken by the COVID lockdown. For the short term, it’s all about making records again he said, where it will go after that is anyone’s guess! As a former independent label boss, and ambient techno producer dating back to the 90s in the UK, Chris has found a welcome home in the dub techno community - loving to explore the scene’s deep and timeless sound that epitomises the underground, where he is making waves and new friends alike. With releases and remixes across stalwart labels such as Greyscale, Insectorama, Crossfade Sounds and Slope Point to date - and more to follow - you could say he’s going to be one to watch!
