Hailing from Cape Town, Ntobeko Sokoyi, now known as Jayjay Dasoul a young independent artist, was impressing friends and family with his rhyming skills even at a young age, ten years old, this little rapper was already gaining a reputation throughout Cape Town by the age of 18 years as a big talent. 2012 started his own company called PureDopeGang Records alongside.
Established in 2012, PureDopeGang is a CAPE TOWN-based creative collective of rappers, producers,DJ's and designers that share similar views on artistic and stylistic aesthetics. Fronted by 19-year-old Ntobeko Sokoyi, best known as Jayjay Dasoul alongside Nikho. The entire crew is officially rounded out by five members— Jayjay Dasoul, Supreme Swank, Mike Small, Iso Lex and Ntlantla the singer, He became popular with locals for his mixtape “FreeWill”. (2014) he released MoneyShwerFeeling the mixtape and that earned him sharing stages with one of the biggest artist in South Africa AKA, KO, KID X, L'TIDO, MOONCHILD, OKMALUMKOOLKAT AND YASSIN BEY, better known by his former stage name MOS DEF, is an American hip hop recording artist, actor, and activist from Brooklyn, New York City, New York. He refers to himself as a young rap rock star that's on the rise.
