"Flower of Peace" -  A seed falls...it dies in the earth and from this emerges new life....slowly developing in the darkness...growing..then breaks through the surface and reaches to the light....affirming life....developing beauty....blowing in soft winds, dancing....hope for our troubled world.

An Capall Bán (The White Horse) from the Oratorio "Colmcille - Dove of Peace" by Vincent Kennedy, Commissioned by Donegal County Council in 2022 for the 1500th anniversary of Saint Colmcille. This movement is about Colmcille's own white horse who is said to have laid his head on Colmcille's lap and cried the day before Colmcille passed, 9 June 597 AD.
