A multi-instrumentalist from the Philippines who moved to the UK. Started writing songs mostly lyrics and then explored experimental instrumental music. I recently released compilation albums called VRB covers compilation and VRB remixes compilation (remixes and covers of my previously released songs) from Canal Walk, Trance Fusion, and my singles. Whether I'm jamming out to my favorite tunes on a road trip, attending a live concert, or simply creating a playlist to unwind after a long day, music is an integral part of my daily life. I believe that music has the ability to bring people closer together, provide comfort in times of need, and create unforgettable memories.

When I was six years old, my dad asked what I wanted for my birthday. I said, “A harp, Daddy… please!” He came back with a second-hand acoustic guitar, two strings short of a full set. It wasn’t quite what I asked for but it was love at first strum. I still remember my early lessons, proudly plucking away with four strings, utterly enchanted by the noise I could make (much to my parents’ dismay!).

That’s where it all began, a lifelong love affair with sound. Over the years, I picked up more instruments, found my voice, and embraced singing as a natural extension of the noise-making I never quite grew out of. I had some classical training in both piano and singing. though I’ll admit, I never stuck with it long enough to be a true virtuoso. I also became obsessed with Stars in Their Eyes, auditioning as Patsy Cline (cringe!).

My first original song was written for a variety show while I was studying performing arts. It wasn't a masterpiece, but it was mine and a fun song which made the audience laugh. The start of something I didn’t even realise I was meant to do. It wasn’t until a lecturer told me, “You have to write songs,” that I started taking it seriously.

Since then, I’ve had a few proud moments with local radio features, making the final of the UK Open Mic competition and one terrifying one: performing at the O2. (Let’s just say my stage fright prefers my home studio.) These days, you’ll most likely find me lost in that little creative haven, surrounded by instruments, half-finished songs, and cups of tea gone cold.

I may not have a harp, but I do have music and that’s more than enough.

With the exception of a few collaborations, all songs are written, performed and produced by me.
