A series of orchestral pieces I recently composed, with a typical Hollywood-style orchestral sound.

Orchestral/Epic

The Marianas Trench is the deepest part of the earth underneath the western pacific ocean. This piece creates a narrative of exploration and dark discovery.

Marianas Trench

Cycle is written for a trio of Violin, Harp and Double Bass. Each instrument can create an effects process for another instrument. The bass effects the violin with a spectral drone plugin when it plays low enough, the violin puts delay on the harp when it plays high enough, and the harp put an octave doubler below on the bass when it is instructed to trigger a foot pedal. Each instrumentalist has the option to jump between two staves of music at any time within the piece but may cause an effect on the next performer. This concept gives the performers control over their performance environment. The performers on the recording are Kate Agostino on violin, Anna Quiroga on harp, and Owen Nicalaou on bass

The Polar Express

This piece was composed as a re-scoring of the official trailer for the film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".
The music was recorded live at the Royal College of Music in February 2019 and conducted by Matt Dunkley (Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Inception, The Dark Knight, Moulin Rouge).

The Last Jedi

A short cue composed on a scene of the drama "The Passion", a BBC and HBO coproduction on the final days of Jesus of Nazareth. The cue is part of my final project for the Composition for Screen course at Royal College of Music.

Music has always been at the centre of my life. I've been playing piano since I was a little kid, and even before that I can't remember a time when I wasn't mesmerised by radios and instruments and anything that produced sounds. I graduated in Jazz Piano at the italian conservatoy "J. Tomadini" and in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music in London.
I love soundtracks and movies. I've been composing music for visual media since 2011, working in collaboration with many directors (Andrea Martelli, Marco Fabbro, Giacomo Trevisan, Gianmarco Formica, Michelle Brand, Florian Thess, Frozia Khalife, Rath Chun). I have worked on several productions, from documentaries to short movies, web-series and commercials.
